They are far too generous. If they are spending this amount of money on holidays, then the DWP should investigate where the money is coming from.

haha, I have already said its saved from benefits.
I would not be bothered in the slightest if I were audited from DWP as I have nothing to hide.

They do it on the cheap! The average cost for a family to go to Disney is around £10,000. I should know as my daughters regularly go and that is how much they pay to stay on site - all inclusive.

Oh billy will, Andy, Andyandflo ( who ever you are ) I'm sorry peeps - I'm feeding the troll but this is total BS !! Typical of someone who has never been to Disney lol x I used to earn £80k pa so I'm "allowed" to have this knowledge ! It no where near costs this much ! Your daughters need to shop around for deals and discounts - paying silly money is just silly lol

as i have said, we claim our state pension because we are entitled to it. Does it embarrass us, yes. Would we object to it being means tested, certainly not.

Is that all? I was earning net £1300 a week in 1990!

Be that as it may, she came back 4 weeks ago after a 10 day trip to Disney and DID spend £10,000, mind you that did include travel in Business Class with BA out of Gawick. If you have the money you should enjoy yourself with a little bit of luxury don't you think? Better than penny pinching - you only live once.

Maybe the difference between you and i is that I am not greedy!

This scenario is different you are claiming NOW!

And as for not going out etc. Most working people can't afford them things aswell.

I wish these poor working people we so often hear about, who cannot afford to do normal thigns such as the cinema etc, were as hard working at school.

First it's £10,000 they pay to stay on sight, next it's including business flights. You are confusing me.

    *splutter*

I would disagree, you claim £200 per week in state pension, that you do not need and only claim it because you are entitled. If you don't need it and you are not greedy, why claim it?

May I ask what you did for a living to earn this amount?

Then WHY are you taking your pension, why are you not giving it way???????

Sorry do not, and will not see me taking a pension which I will have paid in for 51 years to qualify for and will be paying tax on as greed, now of course if I gave up work now and lived on my private pension pot, thus denying the country of 5 years of NIC (which will be about 20k) and 5 years of less tax and then had my pension (which quite frankly wont be much more if I keep on working) then you can call me greedy I suppose
