I have a car on HP from Welcome Finance and claim back my PPI in April 09 and received full payment with interest by August 09. This was completed by myself with templates and help from these forums.

    Many thanks.

  • Hi for all those who have claimed off welcome finance, how long did it take for them to send the refund from you accepting their offer? For me the whole process as went quick untill I accepted their offer of a refund, I accepted it about 4 weeks ago now and called them in that time and was told they could not give me a time scale on the refund being sent out, any info would be nice. Thanks.

    Hi there
Hopefully someone who have had dealings with them will post up of their own experience soon.

I would keep chasing them on this, good luck.
    And well done.

    Hi

    thanks for getting back

The rebate on the 2nd loan was £2,347.50

First loan for £3000 started 03/11/1999 and was settled 11/10/2000 was set to run for 3 years

the 2nd loan for £13,300 started 29/10/2002, was ment to run for 5 years was settled after 5 months april 2003.

    hope this helps

given the numbers i have i can come to the following totals

    loan 1

    9 premiums at £15 each = £135, 8% simple on this to date = £112.50

difference in rebate and ppi paid = £282, 8% simple on this = £225

    total refund £135 + £112 + £282 + £225 = £754

    loan 2

    5 premiums paid at £50 = £250, 8% simple on this = £151

difference in rebate and ppi paid = £404, 8% simple on this = £237

    total refund £250 + £151 + £404 + £237 = £1042

these figures will vary slighly due to exact dates and interest calcs but they are near enough what you should expect.

well done on getting your money back.

they got mine on 1st June, and my refund has been delayed by a possible further 10 days.

so will probably not get mine until next month.

they blamed it on a system breakdown, so i might even make a complaint about that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They received mine on the 20 May, told me 21 working days from receiving, so I worked this out to be last Thurs, and to be told today it should take 21 days "again".

Yet on the last 2, they did actually pay out when they said they would at 21 working days after they received the acceptance slips.

Just to keep you guys updated, had a call from a girl called Danielle who was just asking me some questions to clarify matters regarding my loans

I had 4 in total first one taken out in 2003 last one taken out in 2006 and due to be paid off in the next 13 months.

She wanted to know if I was claiming for all 4 loans or just the one taken out in 2006, I was claiming for all 4.

She then went on to say that I should recieve a letter next week with regards to the outcome

    Nervous now

    Di3004 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU

Got my offer letter through yesterday

Had 4 loans in total, paid each one off with a top up loan etc and had 14 months left on my existing loan amount

The offer letter was to pay the outstanding balance off on my existing loan and also credit me back £3,490

    I can't thank you enough

They broke down all the values etc with 8% interest included on a seperate sheet and I sent my response back this morning.

    1st letter sent 30th April

One reply to say they are looking into it, one phone call to clarify if i am requesting PPI refund on all 4 loans and then offer later

    I am over the moon

How long do you think they will now take till I get the loan paid off and my refund bare in mind that my next loan payment is scheduled for the 1st July

    Thank you so much Di3004
