you will have had a rebate when you settled early ,so i would just count on getting what you had paid in plus interest and your certainly not a pain ... god ive asked loads of questions since i started reclaiming :o
Have they said how long for calculations ???

hi all just got in from work, and got a letter from bos for an aa loan i had in 2003. they have said they have decided to pay me back to put me in the position i would be if i hadnt had ppi. no figures yet as they say they will contact me in due course.i only wrote to them a week ago. im so pleased. thanks for all your help as i wouldnt have done this without reading this site. just a quick question does that mean i should receive all my ppi back?
Hi lucieloo, from the wording it seems that they are redressing all the PPI you paid and this is exactly as FOS would expect from a firm for misselling. Just a heads up though, have they mentioned the 8% statutory interest for being deprived of the monies? If they have not then did you ask for it in the reclaim letter? If you did then perhaps you could ask that they pay you this too.:) FOS ask for it awarded.

What were you reclaiming: HSBC loans PPI
    Who was the provider: HSBC
How much did you get back: £1652.53
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: letter

Waiting for the letter confirmation on this but having spoken to someone at HSBC today they have confirmed they are upholding my claim on a couple of loans when I already had cover through HSBC!!! As a valued customer (erm yeah right) they would be refunding me. Obviously i want to see the breakdown on this first, but as I wasn't sure what i'd paid and was expecting around £350 for 1 loan and no idea on the other, this looks like a good amount. I have an £850 overdraft in place%

    Hi lucieloo,

Congratulations on your win against AA/BOS! I posted details of my win yesterday (page 409) and repayment of my PPI includes premiums paid, refund of interest paid and interest at 8%. The letter states that I should be receiving my cheques within 28 days. Can't wait!!! :j

    Well done!! :T
