Hi Kaz
Have you tried sourcing FSA site for Welcome finance's contact email details and try the same approach that we used for Black Horse.
Good luck huni.

i was just wondering if anybody has had a complaint rejected by central capital which has then been referred to the fos, and what the outcome of this was?0

Hello there
I expect there have been.
So I take it you have recieved a rejection letter which enclosed details of the FOS then?
I'm sure it will be resolved through the FOS for you.
If you have had the FOS details, you can either ring the FOS to arrange for them to post you the complaints form, or download and print one from their website, remember to enclose a copy of the final correspondence and anything you may have to support your complaint.
Good luck, please keep us posted.;)

I had a rejection letter from Tesco Personal Finance, saying that I was out of time to complain. I took out my credit card with them in 1999 and cancelled the PPI when I realised the situation in 2008 (I still have the credit card now).
I know it's more difficult to reclaim if the PPI is over 6 years old, but I'm going to the FOS anyway. I would hope that they will look at the fact that the PPI has only just been cancelled and so it was still in force very recently (even though it was taken out over 6 years ago).
Does anyone else have any experience of Tesco and / or claims rejected because the PPI was taken out over 6 years ago?
Many thanks.0 -

Hello and welcome.
Do they mean out of time since the time you taken this out to complaining?
That does not matter if its only recently you learnt of the mis selling.
There are many on here who have experience of these, and have taken them to the FOS.
You can ring the FOS for a complaints form, ask if they can post this or download and print one from their website.
Remember to enclose copies of the letters and anything you have to support your complaint, good luck.

tomcody - it took one letter. I think 2003 was a year where they did pre-select the box. However, keep at them! There seems to be no logic to Egg's approach at the moment!0

:jEvening all
I am so happy to be finally posting on this thread.- What were you reclaiming: PPI on loan
- Who was the provider: Egg
- How much did you get back: £980.91
- Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: One letter plus an ID confirmation request
- And then write your brief reclaim tale I wrote to Egg end October about PPI on this loan. They replied with a request for signatures to confirm ID due to name change. With this response I queried with them if I had ever had PPI on a credit card account I held with them. I was most disheartened last week to recieve a letter from them regarding the CC PPI saying the usual drivel that I've read on others posts here. Fired off an email complaining that they hadn't addressed my initial complaint... Came home today to find out why!!!! Letter stating .. after carrying out a full review.... payment to follow in 7-10 working days!!
No 8% added but could always take them to the FOS for that??
Right now I'm so happy to be getting this much :j:j:beer::j:j
Huge thanks to all the wonderful posters on here - you know who you are!!:D:D
And to the Most Magnificent Martin of course :T:T:T You totally rock!!
Will await their final response on the CC PPI ...
Have also had a 'need more time' letter from Nationwide today regarding a loan PPI reclaim with them - which could be a positive sign (if they aren't able to discount it immediately??)
HAPPY DAYS!!! :rotfl::rotfl:FeeFee

Thanks for letting me know that. They did give me the option to take a final decision from them but thought I could at least listen to what they have to say. I don't really have to say much to them do I?0 -

Yes I will keep going and thanks for info. Yep they sure seem to be treating people so differently. I'm filling in FOS form as we speak.0 -
