no i e-mailed paul phillips head of compliance (like gerryscot done) and they got onto my claim since nov 16th
i tried this approach after sending 3 letters previously with no success so the direct e-mail to the main man seemed to have worked better ;)

Postman has just delieverd a letter from Egg agreeing to refund me on my PPI! I took the CC out online in 2003 for any of those that are pursuing them.

£3k paid directly to my card. I don't mind as it reduces the debt :-)

Hi how many letters did it take? Have had refusal to 2nd letter for refund ppi on cc online application in 01!!

Just be careful what you say in phone calls. They can twist anything but i do know that this is said to speed up complaints but just have your wits about you and you should be fine.

    Good luck
