Thanx hun, hope ur well, it's well over 6 months, i contacted the fos about something else, and asked them if a recording was good enough evidence of accepting, esecially that i couldn't play it on my computer, name & date etc was on but just a fuzzy sound playing, they told me to send in a complaint to them but i then realised it was over 6 months. When I listened to the cd i just gave up then & threw all the letters & the cd i'd received from them. I have just written them a letter n week ago because they've increased my interest to over 59%

If its only recently you have received the CD, maybe the FOS will still reconsider, you should also let the bank know the recordings are not at all clearer and that you are requesting a clearer one to understand, maybe this will help.;)
Good luck as well on the interest, maybe as this is a new complaint you could also bring in about the existing one as well, then this will be classed as a brand new complaint if you know what I mean.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I will write to them again when i get a reply about the % charges and will include all the complaints i've had with the company since i've been with them, ( i made a payment of £60 year last aug, they sent me nasty letters saying I hadn't paid, i didn't have any giro slips & vanquis told me their account no sort code etc & to include my acc no as reference when i paid, which I did, the staff at the bank (barclays) were very good, they looked at the receips that had gone in the day I paid & they also looked at the cctv, i had def paid. Vanquis eventually found the payment in their holding account, no apology or nothing, only paid the charges back into my acc! AAARRGGHH0

Blimey, they have given you the runaround haven't they?:eek:
I'm sure this will be sorted out in the end, but to put you through all this, they are not at all treated you fairly, again this is a complaint on its own.
The ICO can be pretty handy as well, in regards of your data/information, and twice the CD was not clear, you could always see what they may suggest as well here:

I am sorry but it is not possible to give an exact date as the timing can vary depending on the nature of the entries that have to be made tothe account in order for it to reflect the correct position after cancellation. FOS expect payment to be concluded within 8 weeks in normal situations.Our aim is to achieve this earlier and that is why the team would have mentioned that it normally takes a month. Any interest payment is calculated to the date that payment is made (not the date that the confirmation is received back).I am sorry that we cannot be more specific. Received a Cheque payment today from the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in regards of the loan business going bust over a year ago, called TWOPART LTD/Eloan.co.uk.
The Cheque received = £1443.87

So happy and it will be a help for the mortgage arrears.:beer:

we were approached a few months ago by a company wanting to help me claim back miss sold ppi however they wanted £300 upfront and would take 33% of whatever they managed to recover for us, but igood friend showed me this fantastic site with all the information i needed to do it my self.
we have got rather bad credit and highinteres loan comapnys wrongly take agvantage of this we were told on 2 occasions we had to takeout ppi in order to be approved forcredit for our loan/finance none the wiser and at the time desperate wee took there word for it.
with the help of this this site i sent my letters to the 2 companies welcome finance & funding corporation ( dont ever use either trust me!!!!
welcome finance we have just recived a final settlement from them for over £5000 thank you martin lewis this is money we didnt even realise had been conned out of us they have given us a full refund plus interest but have not accepted liability for missselling to us.
funding corportaion on the other hand have not been so forth coming infact i have found there replies and offers insulting but with the help of this site and they letters and guides i am now persuing them via the financial ombusman so watch this space !!!!
