  • Am wondering if anyone can help?! I've checked my Barclays bank account today and I've got 2 entries stating "Credit, with apologies, 1 Churchill Place" and money subsequently credited to my account. I haven't received any correspondence from Barclays, however, I did submit a letter to claim ppi on a loan back in March 2009 and have subsequently moved house. Could it be in respect of this?

    Hello there.;)

It could well be, however, I would contact them to double check on this, just in case there is anything else amiss, they should be able to confirm this to you.
    Good luck.

Thanks to the M.S.E and following the instructions on reclaiming PPI. I can now report my first success in only 3 weeks !!

I claimed against Nationwide Bank for missold PPI on a personal loan, and they accepted full liability, refunding me £300.

That felt good, and thanks to Martin, it was a relatively painless procedure.

    1 down , 5 to go !!!! :j
well done to you :j:j was that the whole ppi and did you get the 8%(if you dont mind me asking!)
  • Hello everybody, i've been reading the forums for quite a while and have just had my first success. On 28th September I posted a letter to LTSB asking to have my PPI on my loan returned - got a letter yesterday giving back all my PPI.

Total of around £770 plus 8% interest (really pleased)
Also yesterday I got £146.40 payed into my account after sending some rubbishy gold to Hatton Garden Metals.

Am now thinking of sending them a letter to reclaim charges off both accounts, with the proviso that it will be offset against the debt with any extras paid to myself. It might work if I say I am in harship (which I am)
