I want to share by payment protection insurance claim victory with everyone! :j
wrote a letter to evil Egg to get money back from PPI on a loan i took out in 2005 (i then paid the loan off in 2006 by way of consolidation - bad move - i had the future PPI payments refunded but not the payments i had already made)
I then sent a letter from the templates on this site to them stating that the PPI was missold to me and i thought the salesperson was pushy etc and i got a nice juicy cheque in the post saturday morning for £514.84 (which includes a £100.13 interest payment too!!!)

Hi,
Just thought I'd let you know I wrote to HFC, Beneficial Bank re the PPI on a secured home owners loan which was settled 2 years ago(£50,000.00 repaid 1 year then moved the debt to my morgage)
I wrote to them on the 16 June 09 asking that they repay me the PPI as I believed it had been missold. They wrote back on the 8 Aug with a settlement figure of £9222.00 this includes the 8% interest.
I am now pursuing First Plus and MBNA.
Have already received
Tesco £540
Egg £620
Capital One £340.00
It seems I took PPI with every card and loan I ever had but I've learned my lesson now.
Thanks again to Martin and all of the guys and gals posting information on these forums.:T0
