i sent an email to alistair darling yesterday, complaining about the very quick speed:rotfl::rotfl: at which the fos repay people when they are on the verge of repossession and so save their homes:rotfl::rotfl: and how most people are put into negative equity just by the extortionate rates of ppi, mine is 23,000.and the arrears the monthly payment just for the ppi has caused, in some cases this is a large amount, i have asked him to pass this on (if he cant help) to someone who has the power to look into this. i think we all should email mps, the chancellor. gordon brown and anyone else we can think of, maybe they will get that p****d off when they are inundated with thousands of emails that maybe they are able to do something about this, i know it is too late for dialysis and many others like her, but for people in the future. i have emailed gordon brown and my local mp. i think john prescott is a mouthy s*d and speaks has he finds so i will email him as well, i am sick to death of people who have been put in bad financial situations through ppi etc and it is about time we stood up and were counted

    thanks for that
just thought it was weird that one person heard within 3 days from egg and ive been waiting 2 weeks.
maybe I sent to the wrong address?
maybe its beacuse ive moved house since the loan was paid off last year?
is there anything else I should do at this stage?
(i obviously put my new address on the letter!!)
    thanks

I think it depends how complex your account/loan/claim is. If it is blatently obvious that mis-selling has taken place then you will get a response pretty quickly. If not, then further investigation can take time.

I used the Egg Secure Messaging function rather than sending a letter via traditional post.

Have successfully reclaimed PPI of £2719 from Loans.co.uk!!! for a loan that was completed three years ago. started the claim in february and cheque was deposited into my account last week. sent one letter to start the ball rolling then a questionnaire was sent to ask why i felt it was unfair. this was returned and then about three weeks later we recieved a letter to say we were missold and due a refund. waiting t=fro the amount to be alculated took about six weeks but well worth the wait!!! so glad that we decided to challenge them. :T:T:T
