A and L (MBNA) have now supplied confirmation that the amount they are going to refund is just under £1200 incl interest and 8%. That was for PPI on a credit card upheld by FOS.

Now awaiting figures from PPI on Barclaycard Credit Card.

    Well done Max,xxxx:j:D

  • I had a total 20,000 loan from lloyds about five years ago with ppi
in-between the five years they advertized you could have a loan break
so over five years i took four loan breaks thinking this was ok, i could pay the four break periods after my loan had been paid off.
on the last payment day of my loan before the payback of the loan breaks
    i was made redundant
so i phoned up the bank to invoke my ppi
the bank told me that the ppi was for sixty month only and does not cover payment breaks after the loan
i told them that they did not say this when i was sold the ppi
and they had mis sold me the ppi
so went to F-Obus and they looked into it for me
several month later anf endless letters from the F-Obus
i was told i would get £200 pounds compensation
but a month later i had a letter saying that i would get all my ppi back plus £200 pounds + 8% intrest over five years :T total money back
(£6725.00) thanks Martin keep up the good work:money:

Just recieved a letter from A&L with an offer of £1192 for my loan PPI taken out in march 2006. Well worth the 15 minutes spent on the phone.

Thank you for all the advice on here, wasn't going to bother when I first got my letter from A&L, until I read the threads on here.

After a nervous 8 week wait, HSBC have upheld my claim and have paid £11500.00 into my account after restructuring my loan at my local branch. I have to say that HSBC have been very easy to deal with and have kept me informed through every step of the process.

I advise everyone that was mis sold their PPI policies to claim it back because it is OUR money!
