In 2004 i paid off a loan we had with endeavour finance I remember being shocked at the time to discover how much ppi we had to pay we repaid the loan early. The thing is apart from an old statment showing payment to it I have no other paper work on it. Can I write to the company and request info on it or is it too late any advice would be great :T0

Hi there
I also had a loan with Endeavour in 2004, paid it completely off in 2005, who actually sold you the loan, was it arranged by a broker?
For the paperwork, for the cheapest way, you can just request for a copy of the agreement by writing to Endeavour, enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment, they should supply this to you by 12 days.
For even more paperwork, then its the SAR if required at a later date, you will find a SAR template on the thread with details.
Write to the ones who arranged this first in regards of reclaiming, and take it from there.
Follow the link here with more info and templates.

You will find though that they will get back to let you know they were not under jurisdiction, covered by GISC or the FSA, where the FOS are not able to deal with complaints not covered by these regulators, however, give it a go, you may get more luck than me.;)
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

You then write to the broker.
If you don't mind me asking can you tell me who the broker was?
Its best to make sure the broker is still up and running first.
Good luck with EGG too, post up if you need any help.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi
I would write to them then, these were regulated in 2001, so you may be okay here in case your case has to be moved on to the FOS.
Do you have any paperwork at all from the brokers?

You could always email them as well to make sure it were these then send a letter in to reclaim, maybe SAR these also. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
