PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Just thought I would pass on the good news of our PPI re-claims - Blackhorse have just paid out just over £10,000 and CT Capital another £8,000! Very, very happy people here.
Both very simple - filled in forms - answered the same questions again by phone and the offers made and accepted.
Just waiting on M&S and Capital One now. So nice to clear the credit card!0 -

Can't help with phone number but my sister has a claim in with Lloyds and has had to defer it to the ombudsman - they are apparently one of the hardest to claim from. Good luck x0 -

I would contact them then and see what is happening, it is possible they have sent a letter and it as gone astray, you could receive a reply tomorrow.0 -
A successful claim today , £8700 from Barclaycard for MSDW card that was moved to Goldfish then BC. 8 weeks to the day form submitted.
So far 3 out of 4 success 24k altogether , used to pay down other debts making me 450 a month better off , and get some overdue maintenance done on the house
4th one Santander will be winging its way to regulator next week
Just found an old Yorkshire Bank account number for a loan I know had PPI on it, so will be time for a SAR there to see just what info they may have.
Thanks MSE and the knowledgable people on here, a few hours filling forms in has had a healthy return0 -

If the PPI never appeared on individual statements as a separate line then you didn't pay any PPI that month.
You've posted an extract from the Bank's letter which says precisely that!
But you won't be able to prove anything by asking the Bank to provide the evidence which they have already said they don't have.
I'll leave you there as I am at a loss to help you further...
Guess what has just dropped through my letterbox!!!!
my credit card statements going back to 2000
in 2003 i had a balance of £7300 for much of the year and the card pretty much has an average of £4000 balance for a good few years
i've just calculated the ppi charged for 2 years £849.00
i wonder why the ppi department could'nt find this information????0 -
I have got an on going claim for the mis-selling of PPi against Lloyds TSB, initially it was rejected by Lloyds so i got in contact with the Ombudsman who have been fighting my claim for me. I had a response from the Ombudsman about 3 months ago saving that they agree with me and are going to uphold my claim and that they have contacted Lloyds asking them to respond within 4 weeks, that time has long gone by so i decided to call the Ombudsman myself for an update on my claim.
Now this is the alarming news that was relayed back to myself, basically all claims against Lloyds TSB are on hold while they are in discussions with the Ombudsman about the amount of claims that they are receiving. They can't give me a timescale on when theses discussions are going to over so now I'm left in limbo again.
Firstly, has anybody heard of this happening to anybody else and secondly, is this legal what Lloyds are doing or are they just delaying the repayments of mis -sold PPi??
Any news on this would be greatly appreciated.0 -
I think you might have misheard. I haven't experienced that and mine has been dealt with in the same time frame, and was not and is not put on hold.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
