Hi Di,

That was their final response and yes, they did put the little FOS leaflet in with it and made a brief comment about it. Have filled in the FOS form and have now sent it off.

I am a bit doubtful about this claim now.... how am i expected to win this if they have this document to use against me?? However, i will not give up on claiming what is rightfully mine!!!

So do not worry, these complaints are getting so high and you have every chance of getting through this.
What they said is probably a common response, the FOS will also consider your side of things, I'm sure you will be fine.:AXX

Thanks Maxdp! You're all fantastic on here! I've noticed that if any of you don't know the answer you're always willing to find out! I'm sure I speak for lots of people when I say a big THANK YOU for all your help, advice and encouragement to go on when we feel like giving up or not even starting!! Just to give you an update,

I got a call from the adjudicator last Friday 3rd to let me know that as Welcome Finance had failed to respond to them before the deadline that my case is now being passed on to the Ombudsman. He did mention Welcome Finance had received a large number of letters from them similer to mine to respond to but they were not prepared to allow them anymore time.

Im not sure now how long I'll have to wait for the next decision or if Welcome Fianace will ever respond to anything but I'll keep you posted

I had a feeling they wouldn't respond, oh well on to the ombudsmen. Funny how they've received lots like yours eh!!!!???? Their compliance manager has been suspended I think, I'm sure that was in the news so that probably doesn't help.

Hopefully the FSA will be getting involved soon, I think I read on the FOS website somewhere that when a company drags a case out for longer even when they've had the same result on similar cases then the FOS will look into compensation also. Welcome are clearly doing this, drives you mad!!

Mine still doesn't have an adjudicator and was also March last year, hopefully wont be much longer. I have checked my letters that I initially sent to Welcome and I also requested they cancel the PPI which they haven't done!!! I'm paying them over £500 a month for my loan and car HP so the sooner this is sorted the better. I really could do with some good news.

Maybe Welcome are dragging this out because of all their other problems at the moment?

Oh well, fingers crossed for you and everyone else waiting for some good news. Have a good long weekend everyone.

I understand how frustrating this must be for you, because you want this over and done with, I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.;)
