  • Hi All,

Just a quick question, I have sent my acceptance letter back to Barclaycard about 4 weeks ago, there's still no sign of the money in my bank account. Everytime I ring them they give me a different story, first it was 21 days from the day we receive the letter, then it was 21 working days from the date it was scanned onto the system etc etc. I was just wondering if anyone has had a successful PPI claim with Barclaycard and how long it actually takes to have the money back from them?

    Thanks in advance,

    Martin

Has anyone had any successful claims from Nationwide? I've just received a letter from them to say they're looking into my complaint and they have until 12th July to look into it. Do Nationwide usually pay back or are they difficult?

    Thanks
  • I have just received three offers from Natwest Totaling £9730.62.:j
The three claims date back to 1997, i am still waitng on a claim from Black Horse (chartered trust).
I am also waiting for Barclays to re open one claim with them , which one of their members of staff wrongly logged as a credit card claim:mad:despite having a copy of the orignal agreement. It seems i will have to go through the whole process again , which i presume means waiting 8 more weeks. Slightly angry with them as it was there fault... However every cloud has a silver lining , whilst scanning my bank statements for as much information as possible to back up my claim i found another loan from 1991 which also had ppi attached, so ive made a claim for this also:T.
I made all of my claims on the basis that i was and still am self employed.
I'll keep you all upto date with the last claims as i receive them , Black Horse next:rotfl:.
Just to let you all know i had no information at all on my Natwest loans, all i did was write to them asking for information regarding all my loans and any ppi i might have had on these loans . They got back to me in about 4 weeks and sent back my cheque for £10 that i had been told to enclose with my letter.
So just go for it , the banks are getting hammered and its about time too. Cheers !!!!

Just had our rejection letter from barclaycard and just wondered if anyone can tell me what we need to send to FOS, is it copies of the forms we sent to barclaycard and the rejection letter from barclaycard and a covering letter from ourselves? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You do not need to put a covering letter in, you are complaining about the rejection from Barclays, put copies of the original claim that you made and the rejection.

They are getting as bad as LLoyds, you will have to wait until they send it, you shouldn't have to though, I am sure others will post to let you know how long to took to get their refund.

They are giving you the PPI back with interest that you paid on the PPI and the 8% compensation.

if fscs uphold ,do they pay it of the loan or to you, am at moment going threw fscs against norton but still have my loan active so not sure who gets paid sue
I know that Welcome are taking redress back to the Loan through FSCS, you will have to contact FSCS and ask what happens to the money with Norton.
    congrats.

Quick refresh- My partner put in a claim for two loans and a cc on 1st May and last week the PPI for both loans were paid out £ 3250 wahoo and we are still waiting for decision on the cc. Apparently it takes longer due to the calculations and it's a separate dept. I am not holding my breath tho as I know quite a few people on here have been rejected for their CC claims with Lloyds...we shall see;)
