No, sorry, how thick are you? :rotfl::rotfl:

What are you like?, if you know something, that does not make anyone who does not know that, thick because it is a safe bet that they will know something you don't :D
On your agreement it should show the Loan amount and Interest, the PPI amount and Interest and then the monthly payment, if they total them up and the monthly payment is for one total amount, then this is Single Premium PPI and the reason you use for mis sell, if the PPI is shown as a separate monthly payment, then this is not.
    Hi amersall
A bit confused it's not a loan its a burton store card, so my understanding is ppi would have been added each month on my balance. But because I signed the box they say I not got a case because I could of cancelled it within 30 days and would have shown on my monthly statements. So is it worth me trying Fos? or am I in the wrong?

Had a letter today as follows:

After considering the evidence and information available,i have not found sufficient evidence to agree with your allegations. As such I am unable to uphold your complaint.
As part of my review, I have considered whether you were eligible for the policy and whether the policy was suitable for you. I have also taken into account each of the concerns you raised with us in your complaint and I can confirm that I did not identify any other issues when reviewing your file.
Having completed all of these steps, I went on to look at your complaint as a whole to ensure that we acted fairly towards you in relation to the sale of ppi, giving appropriate weight and balanced consideration to all available evidence.
In order to address the concerns you have raised,I have reviewed all the available sales evidence. I have established that you applied for your C C PPI on 3rd November 1998. To further assists I have taken the following into Consideration.
    Your complaint letter and questionnaire
    Internal sales notes
Our knowledge of our sales process and documentation at the time
    Your sales documentation
You purchased the policy you would have been provided with sales documents that quoted the cost of ppi. It should also be noted that explaining the cost of ppi is a key piece of the process and I am of the opion that this was brought to your attention at the time of sale. I can confirm that it has never been a requirement to take out ppi in order for an application to be accepted.
If you do not agree please contact me. If you remain unhappy contact Fos'

Just going to phone them will post again
Sent a strong letter to lloyds credit card ppi rejecting reasons etc. sent recorded delivery. Phoned them today because not had reply -its not on the system so they not got it even though I sent it recorded and know it got there

    Thanks Again
    Sorry for all the questions.

This happened to a couple more of my CC but did not put that down as a reason for a mis-sell on the questionaire as I did not know it was will they investigate only my reason what I put down or will they look at everything of the PPI on the CC?.

They will look at the reasons you gave so wait and see what they come back with, good luck.

oh so it should have been a seperate payment then?

No, your reason for mis sell is the fact that this was Single Premium, this is the reason that you use, if you had paid the PPI each month on it's own, then this is not Single Premium and you cannot use that as a reason for mis sell, you have SP so that is what you put.

    :j

Received an offer letter from Tesco bank today upholding my claim. Its taken about 16 weeks but got there in the end.

I probably wouldn't have bothered reclaiming if i hadn't been lured in by the amounts some people were being offered, so i thought hmm i wonder if i can reclaim mine.

I had a single premium front loaded.

Sorry :o I have answered so many posts regarding SP PPI, that I just seem to get carried away :D
Send it to FOS, reiterate the reasons you have for mis sell and anything that you had in place that would have paid the card had you been off work sick, made redundant or had other means to pay this.

You would not have taken this PPI if you had no need of it.

I've been in the same position. They signed for my recorded delivery letter about 6 weeks ago and it's still not showing on their system. Out of frustration I e-mailed their CEO this week and that seems to have spurred them on. Got a reply within an hour and by the next day my complaint had been passed for a review. No reply yet but at least it seemed to get things moving! CEO address is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Worth a try!
    Success so far:

Bank charges refund plus interest: over £6000 :j
Mortgage PPI refund plus interest: over £9000 :j
