    I have previously posted on here, regarding a complaint of mine which wasn't being upheld by Barclaycard. I wrote to them explaining that it was an online application etc etc. They have today replied saying they are not upholding my complaint. They also sent a copy of the agreement, which was back in 1997, it shows that I have signed this document. On the agreement it reads that I wish to take out PPi,I could've sworn I never did agree to this, but given it's that long ago and my sinature is on the agreement, argh, i'm so annoyed!!!

    Don't know which bank you are with but RBS seem to update at 2.00am each day.

    Sorry if what I wrote was confusing! We only got 2 cheques! £3000+ and £500+ for the premiums and interest, both slightly more than what was in the offer letter.

    The letter that came with the cheques said they have applied the refund to the loan and enclosed 2 cheques for £200 and £500 approx for the interest. Very odd. Almost like they sent us somebody else's letter but with our cheques!

    Oh and the monthly premiums are two pounds lower per month than what they first calculated.

    Has anyone had any success / joy with reclaiming from AMEX ?

    I tried last week and got a letter today which was a big fob off generic letter.

    They seem to be claiming they sold the PPI on an unadvisory basis and it was my own decision as to whether I took it out or not as I was the only one who knew my own circumstances at the time
