After taking your advice guys, and e-mailing Bob Diamond, Firstplus have changed their minds and actually upheld my complaint!!!!

Came back from a lovely two weeks in Cyprus, to an email informing me of the great news, and a letter for the full redress.

What a turn up for the books!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

£3930 refunded premiums paid plus 8% interest

£10033 taken off the rest of the loan:money::money::money:
So That makes it £13,963 total refunded:j:j

Just goes to show that even if you get knocked back first time, keep at it, good things come to those who wait!!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped me with this, I could not have done it without you all, and no doubt would have stopped at the first hurdle had I not had your guidence.

You guys are all great THANKYOU :A:A:A:A:A

    Love

Thanks Sara - will keep in touch and let you know the moment my money arrives. When I mentioned that I was being made redundant at the end of October and could do with the money the cretin at the other end of the phone said "Oh we're snowed under with work here, we'll be working forever". Very Subtle. Perhaps I should apply for a job at the bank - probably know more about it all by now than most of their staff!

What an insensitive (insert own expletive here)
Sorry to hear of your redundancy and I really hope it doesn't cause too much hardship in the future. Fingers crossed another job will come up for you.

As soon as I have my money I will let you know as you should have yours the day after !!!
