I got a £5k bank loan in 2003 (!) and didn't hold out much hope, but today I got a letter offering me a refund, plus interest!
I used the template letter, and had to delete most of the options as they didn't really apply to me, the only thing that concerned me was that I worked part-time and wasn't asked any questions about my work situation.
Chuffed though!:j0 -
YES cheque today from RBS £2332.94p, It took over a year but without the templates from this site and the advice i would never have claimed so Thank You all very very much and i shall raise a glass to you all this evening0

I've just had another offer from NatWest - they've offered me an additional £2600, on top of the £1500, bringing the total I've claimed back to £4100!
Thanks so much for all the great advice on here, this money will clear 2 credit cards, my overdraft, and a bit of my final credit card! I'm almost there!
Well doe NLK;) Excellent news:mad:0 -

First of all I would like to say a massive thank-you to Martin & all the contributors on this forum.
Having put in a claim for 2 separate loans back in december with HSBC I held little hope of successfully reclaiming any money, working on the assumption that "It wont happen to me". However I have today received a settlement of £1129, and upon checking the details also realized that this is in settlement of only one of the loans.
So to cut a long story short, for the cost of £0.31 I am today in possession of over a grand that I never thought I'd see again.
Once again thanks for all the help, I will now be waiting with baited breath to see the outcome of the 2nd claim.0 -

Store card/ GE capital- Dorothy Perkins/ Sent 2 letters/
£290 back!
I started reclaiming my ppi for store card in december, was mis sold as I was actually a student and technically unemployed at the time. They sent me a letter saying that the sales consultant would not have known that. I pelied with a copy of the credit agreement, where it states at the top that you have to be in 16 hours or more of employment, or be able to explain to the assistant an alternate means of income. I also included housing benefit forms proving I was unemployed at the time. This was on the 6th feb. They have replied today stating they agree I was mis-sold, and offered full premiums, interest and loss of cash payment totalling £290!
They are refunding it onto my account, could argue to have a cheque I suppose but need to pay the card off anyway.
1 down, 2 cards to go!0
