At the time of sale what benefits were available to the insured to cover the payments in terms of disability, unemployment, or sickness. (FOS have said the life cover element is insignificant in there previous case studies). I need to know what cover you had elsewhere to cover the payments not what the policy was offering
Thanks
Sorry MisunderstandingThe employment benefits plan of £17,500 for accident. But other than this nothing else.

If your OH didnt speak to the salesmen and complete a statement of demands and needs how can they have completed a statment and then given advice on the ppi as outlined in the letter declining your complaint against mis sale. The recordings will pick this up.
Also your OH was only in employment for 3 months so the policy states a claim can only be settled if 6 months continuous employment.
Is he still in the same employment, has he a job where he moves from contract to contract, he isnt self employed is he.
I am asking this again to make sure
The only other insurance you could claim on if your husband was ill/redundant/disabled was the 3 months full pay.
Would he not have then got half pay for a number of months.
Did he not join the pension scheme at work. If this was a companay pension scheme he may have had the right to retire ill health early retirement. This is especially true of local government schemes.
The personal accident scheme was on your OH for £17500.
You did not have any other policies (forget life assurance) such has critical illness that werent attached to your main mortgage.0 -

The personal accident scheme was on your OH for £17500. Yes through his work an employee benefits scheme.

Hope this is everything you need. I will ring FP tomorrow to request the recordings, and progress as both you and Amersall have said.
With the email to Bob do I rewrite the reason for my complaint verbatim as I sent to FP?
Eternally Grateful to both you and Amersall.

No way should they get away with it, my 16 weeks are up next week and knowing my luck I will probably get a big fat noooooooooo!!! They had £21,000 of ppi from me and I'm going to fight them all the way to get it back.

Firstly, congrats to all winners today.
Does anyone have email addresses for the 'Big-wigs' at Nat West Credit Cards and MBNA Credit Cards so that I can give them a kick up the 'Jaxsy' before I go thru the FOS Rigmarole!
Many Thanks in anticipation

Hi, little miss impatient here. I lodged a complaint with M&S MOney in May 2011 and the 16week period has now elapsed, I've heard nothing. Sent a reminder earlier this week. Anybody else waiting/heard anything? thanks,0
