    Hi all

After a very long time, I have just checked my account and nearly spat out my coffee - they have finally paid me £12,305 !!

    Original claim - Feb 2011
Offer letter - 3rd August (orange sticker on envelope)
Acceptance letter received by them - 9th August
1st call to them - 15th August (payment 4-5 working days)
2nd call to them - 24th August (payment within 28 days)
3rd call to them - 2nd September (payment within 4-8 weeks)

Very annoyed with inconsistent information so emailed Bob Diamond (CEO) and got a response from the Directors office at Teeside on Monday "due to high demand they couldnt tell me when it will be paid". Not impressed, so fired off a response about the poor customer service they are giving customers, inconsistent information, promised call backs never made, etc. Got a response on Tuesday advising me that my acceptance form had been actioned and payment would be made within the 4 working days.

On holiday this week and have been going through old paperwork and have found some old statements from my MBNA CC which shows PPI payments - this card goes back to 2002 or 2003. Anyone think its worth claiming?

I really hope that any people waiting for decisions or payments hear very soon and I totally understand the frustration and anger that this whole matter is causing.

    Good luck everyone

    PiP1966,

    Congratulations once again!

  • Firstly i called HSBC after waiting the full 16 weeks and they told me that both my complaints against 2 loans has been upheld! success! just want to work out figures for my redress hope someone can help!

    Loan 1 (2nd December 06)

    Principal Loan £6,150.41
    PPI £1,045.60
    Total Loan £7,196.01
Period of Loan 36 Months (Paid back in full 8th Jan 07)
    PPI Refund £679.59
    APR 14.9%

    Loan 2 (8th April 07)

    Principal Loan £13,382.79
    PPI £3,158.31
    Total Loan £16,541.10
Period of Loan 62 Months (Due to be clear 31st March 12 - 7 Payments remaining)
    APR 11.9%

I was told over the phone that my redress is up to the end of August 11 which is the last loan payment i made.

I also am due a repayment reward of 25% when the loan is paid 31st March 12 do you think it`s possible to ask them to repay the refund direct to me and i continue with the loan because i will also lose the repayment reward if they take it direct from the loan.

    Cheers Lindsay
  • Telephoned FirstPlus this morning, was advised that I have to put the request in writing and they cannot deal with the request over the telephone.

    Hi there

Have you made a start on the reclaiming?

As soon as they receive your complaint/questionniare, they should confirm in writing they've received it within a week or 2.

Where usually its 8 weeks, the main of the banks have been given extra time such as 12 weeks as from when the complaint is received.

There have been much success as far as I am aware, keep at them and the best of luck x;)
