Congratulations on your win.I do not know if this will be of any use to you. My husband got the same letter in June 2011 for a claim that went to FOS (September 2010). He has had no response since. Every time he calls its a different story. Today he was told there is a provisional figure while they check if there are any arrears. They could not tell him the figure or when it will credited to his account. He had consolidated loans and the last one is still running. Hope this helps!

I sent my questionnaire off in May, I got a letter though last week saying they are going to give me a full refund against ppi I had on a loan WOO! Rang them this morning to find out if they have received my acceptance letter they said yes it was scanned on 3rd sept the gentleman told me that the calculation team are currently dealing with 1st august acceptance letters and was unable to give me a timescale but told me it will take a while so im just gonna let them get on with it all the hard work has been done hopefully it will arrive by christmas:)

Thank you for replying:) Has your husband rang the FOS to get them to chase up your refund? The FOS told me that I'd they haven't paid me within 8 weeks they would contact them to find out what is holding them up.

Hi All,

Could anyone provide me with the CEO E-MAIL address for santander please ??? I am having a right time with them !! They are just fobing me off 1st put a complaint in about ppi on the 6th June 2011, got letter back on the 8th July saying that they were investigating, got another letter 12th July saying it's taking longer than they thought, got another letter on the 2nd Aug saying still taking longer than they thought so I rang them, on the 19th Aug to see what was going on ???

Anyway they have told me that because my complaint is re a old A&L Credit card (which I sent off an old statement with) they have to wait for MBNA to investigate and to ring back in a couple of week so I rang back on the 24th Aug to be told they are no further on and have heard nothing from MBNA!! So I asked the question should I ring them ??? No you prob wouldn't get anywhere I was told!!!! so I left it, but found on here a e-mail address for the bank of America e-mail the address (which is the MBNA) After a couple of e-mails spoke to a lovely man who had no record of my compliant Anyway he told me he would take my compliant over the phone but he could only investigate the yrs the card was under MBNA (Fair enough) So today I have rang Santander back and the have told me they have sent me a letter today to tell me that they have got to wait for MBNA to finish their investigation and they have passed my complaint onto them !!!! WHAT THE HELL ????? They should have done that weeks ago and according to the letters they have been sending me they have been investigating ? so what have they been doing for to months !!!!***????? ///

so I really want to give someone a piece of my mind I am so mad !!!

Please can someone help ?????

I wasn't rude or anything like that just said how disappointed I was that they weren't able to give decision by that point, this was about 12 weeks, I was prepared to wait longer and only go to FOS if they came back with a rejection. After the emails OH got call from Carol Craig saying that it was with calculations and something would be out in the mail within a couple of days, I gave them to the end of the following week, and low and behold on the Thursday/Friday we received the letter, checked calculations with niggly on here, send acceptance form special delivery was received on the Tuesday and money in the bank on the Thursday, a wee bit long on the decision's but very quick at paying.

Thanks for those email addresses i will try carol craig and see if she is any more helpful than the girls on the phone , they are saying it could be the end of october before they issue a response that would be 24 weeks , the stock answer is go to FOS!
