I sent my questionnaire off in May, I got a letter though last week saying they are going to give me a full refund against ppi I had on a loan WOO! I have sent off the acceptance letter etc (did this straight away) I thought I'd let you know that I received a duplicate letter - exactly the same as last week so when I rang today to query it, they have told me that it's an error on their part and that my acceptance letter was received. Those of you who have also had a duplicate letter etc, it might be worth a call to confirm just in case.

When I questioned how long their calculations and payment would take, the woman couldn't tell me but fingers crossed it's soon

Any one had any luck with Halifax?? i sent my acceptence letter off 3 weeks ago and still no word from them :cool:

just rang HSBC spoke to a lovley lady who informed me that my claim has been upheld should get a letter by next week, ppi paid over £3000 dont know including intrest how much the full redress will be but thats another one bites the dust and my biggest claim so far! yipee! will post more info when i find out figures

Halifax have just confirmed that my deadline for calculations and payment has been estimated as the 22nd-29th September, when they were originally aiming for the 13th :mad:

Thanks Ian i spoke to them last week but they couldn't give me a date just said would be up to 3 weeks, i'm getting married in November and would be a massive help to me this month.

Hi,

I finally recieved a letter from the FOS stating that Barclays are offering me a 'goodwill gesture' offer (claim made August 2010). It stated that if I choose to accept it I didn't need to do anything and after two weeks they would let Barclays know. I would then have to wait up to 8 weeks for my refund. Does anyone know how long it is taking Barclays to work out refunds and pay people? Is it likely to be 8 weeks?
