I have to really - someone somewhere will be underpaid and they will realise they are £2700 down and find me I am sure!! I don't fancy spending it and owing THEM money LOL
Just tell them to lodge a complaint, and you will get your ppi refund team to investigate the complaint and hope that someone will get back to them with a decision with 16 weeks, then once a decision has been taken, it will take you 8 weeks to do the calculation's and refund their money, and of course you have to wait till the last day of each to send the letter, then send it 2nd class. Oh and leave it sitting in your mail tray for three days before posting it out.

OOH wait a minute thats them, not you or us!!:D
Thanks to all the competition posters.

  • Hi,
    Congratulations on your win :T

What were your reasons for mis selling?
I have just had my claim refused!!!:mad:

    Advice greatly appreciated x
we were young, naive and planning a wedding so needed a small loan, we kept getting phone calls from a company called awd some kind of independent financial advisory company he ripped us of big time selling us a £15000 loan as a second mortgage type telling us nothing of the so called added extras he also got us into paying £3000 for a critical illness policy that lasted only 5 years we were well and truly screwed but have learnt a very important lesson by it all.....first plus accepted ppi complaint immediately and our 1st letter back stated we would be getting a good will offer but our final letter stated we would be getting a full refund so we pleased something positive came out of the last 6 years of hell..id try again im not really into all the rights and terms of it all but i wish you ever luck in the world
  • Hi chaps (& chapesses!)
Firstly, congrats to all winners today.
Does anyone have email addresses for the 'Big-wigs' at Nat West Credit Cards and MBNA Credit Cards so that I can give them a kick up the 'Jaxsy' before I go thru the FOS Rigmarole!
    Many Thanks in anticipation
    Bear x

Congratulations! How long did that take to come through?

I sent the form and it was received on 2nd August, I had to send proof of my id twice and the last correspondence told me it would be 8 weeks. Cant believe it was sorted so quickly. :rotfl:

Hi all, I posted in a Lloyds topic last week, I have also received a letter from Lloyds, I had 3 ppi claims, and they have been upheld :j I've sent back the acceptance form so just waiting now for a total figure.

All the loans have been paid off now. it was a long time ago and they were for a total of £24k (crazy spending period of my life) Not sure how much of a ppi refund to expect!

I've also just put in a claim for my Llloyds credit card ppi too! :)

Good luck to those still waiting, congrats to those who have been successful.

    Regards

    Quick (non) update.

I received a duplicate letter in the post today, rang them to check if they had received my acceptance letter. Apparently it was not on the admin system yet, as the letters go to one address, then get sorted and forwarded onto another

Anyway I was told to ignore the duplicate and he again confirmed that all 3 of my loans were being upheld.
  • Im so confused just been on the phone for 30mins going through offer fig's. Dont understand it at all :(
