Hi,
Had good news my complaint to Sainsburys for misselling of PPI was UPHELD!!!:j:jand it came through 2 weeks early:)
Which I am absolutely delighted with as I really thought I had mucked up complaint, by not mentioning amongst other things that I actually had 2 loans with them, (1 refinancing other)not just the one I complained about.
Anyway offer states as part of any offer we will also consider any loan(s) that refinanced (or were refinanced by)the loan PPI you have complained about. Where applicable, your refund will also include the premiums paid (inclusive of interest) plus simple interest at 8% in relation to any additional policies.
I have just to send acceptance form in and presume they will send me their calculations.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Amersall, Di and Cappo!!0 -
Hi,
Lloyds have sent me a letter to say they are offering " a refund of all PPI premiums paid, inclusive of interest, plus simple interest at 8%." One of the total ppi paid was £1714.10,loan started in 2006, finishing in 2011 and the other loans ppi was £1640.14 starting in 2007 and finishing in 2011. Cant remember interest rate. Am I therefore going to receive the ppi total plus if I divide the ppi by 100 and x by 8 will this give me the 8%? Or is this too simple? Any advice or guidance on figures would be much appreciated.0 -

Hi All,
Firstly, a HUGE congratlations to all who have successfully had their claims upheld....am delighted for you!!!
The successes are fairly rolling in now....great to see!!!
Also, ( naturally) I have a question...I sent a SAR to M&S...the paperwork back gives details of a card, ( already reclaimed)..but misses at least one loan...which I found going through old paperwork...any idea why they might do that?
The card went way back to before the loan...
Also, had 40 minutes on the phone with the adjudicator from the fos...very, very thorough...am hoping that he will decide in my favour...but it is a Cap One claim..
Good luck to all today for good news...
