You could argue that you have a more urgent need for the money, and want it paid direct to you.

Yes, I could - I just thought they legally had to offer to repay me. I will tell them to pay it onto the card, will be easier! Thanks for the advice.

birthday next sat 1 claim down 4 others to go 3 from blackhorse think im guna have a fight with them has anyone had upheld from them from loans from 2003 paid up in 2006. can anyone tell me if they would have charged the ppi for the whole of the loan or just for 3 years that it ran.
I've two open cases with Blackhorse. One has been upheld (a loan from 2002) and the other is still being investigated (a loan from 2004).

I'm not sure about your other question, sure someone else will know though.

I had a call from MBNA telling me that my first card should be sorted next week, but the woman told me that their policy is to pay off the card in all but extreme circumstances, which apparently the FOS agrees with. My card is not in arrears, and although I intend to clear the card myself, I would prefer the choice. I am not really moaning, but a little peeved. Does anyone have anything they can refer me to as an argument against this? thanks

    Well done and Congratulations!

I agree with what DrSqueeze says, and tell them you've already been deprived of your money once already.
    Good luck.;)

    Well done on your success!

I believe there have been success with these in between those years.

Do you mean you were paying for the ppi for 3 years then settled the account?
If you settled the account they would have included the whole of the ppi within the balance, so you should receive the full amount back plus interest minus any rebate on settling (you would not see the rebate but it reduces the loan balance on settlement).

Hope this helps, and sorry if I've misunderstood.;) Good luck.

can further investigate it which i have done a week ago now

    congrats on your win:beer:
