I sent Barclays CEO quite a nasty email last night after a few beers!!!! I had missed call today from Barclays customer relations offer. I have just phoned them back & was told that a letter is on its way offering me £3,449……….yippy thanks everyone for there help & advice. :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

He did stress that I will not receive the money yet but I have to wait for the letter which explains more.

For information the claim was for 2 loans each for £3,000 & both over 36 months. The first loan was in 2000 & the second 2003

    Thanks,

    Tony.

Spoke to M&S today re my claim for an old loan. Being looked at today should hear by next week. Feeling very nervous especially when I looked at my reason for misselling and I've only put 2 lines saying that it was done over the phone and I was advised it would enhance my application wish I had put much more detail.....................eeeeekkkkkk, squeeky bum time!

Well done to all who have shared their fab success stories.

LynK, I'm sure you'll be fine, even if they reject you, you could still go back with more details and give them another chance to look at it again.:D

If the card balance was £1800, a total of almost £1600 sounds pretty good!

Without the statements you wouldnt really get very far - I'd be inclined to accept the offer

    :T

Yes thanks, that is what I thought too. Just wanted the expert's opinion!!
  • Hi I am a newbie on here but have been taking tips from you guys for months which has led to me claiming for mis-sold credit card PPI,
I have received a letter this morning from LTSB with a form to fill in then they will send me an offer and a date when the money will be in my account, I find this strange that they want me to send the form without a figure, however having called them they are telling me I am not legally bound to accept their offer, my credit card started in 1998 and was paid and cancelled in 2006, I do have all the statements with the ppi figures can anyone help me with the calculations so that i know how much to expect.

    Thanks all and good luck
  • Thankyou Martin & Team, honestly from my heart...

over the last five years you have saved me a fortune in reclaiming money from Banks.
I have never posted a reply but felt i had to let you know i recieved just under £12,000 yes... twelve thousand pounds from LTSB for a missold PPI. It took just one letter using your templates and a longish wait and included interest and I am shocked at how easily this money could have gone unclaimed!

That was nearly more than i made in profit a couple of years back.

    Cheers guys!!xx:T
