Just an update. Rang Egg the other day as have two credit card complaints outstanding, and should have heard by the 19th August.
Egg advised me that our complaints are in a rather large pile waiting for Barclays to make final decisions, and they should make this by the 31st August. Not long now then I guess, but what a lot still to do.
fingers crossed for you:D

Received letter today advising me that i will be receiving £7,343 back for mis-sold PPI for 2 LLoydsTSB loans.
The letter said that as my account was closed and the loan being repaid to their debt management department, they would send the money there. I phoned and asked them to send me the cheque instead and they said they would.
The letter also said that i may be liable for tax as it counts as income. I phoned the tax office and was advised that as i am using it to pay back debts, there is no tax liability to pay.:jSmoke free since 30/01/13 :j0 -

I had an offer from Santander today for £810 Ppi premiums and £780 interest. Because the old Abbey card transferred to MBNA in 2001, they say that they don't have any details and are averaging this out. The card ran for 4 years with an average balance of around £1800. They have offered to investigate the further if I can prOvide proof of premiums, but i don't have statements from so long ago. Any advice or just accept it? MBNA are working On the claim from the time they took the card over. Thanks0
