An Update;
I have just been informed that I will be refunded all my premiums plus interest on a Tesco loan I paid off a while ago.
Thats a grand total of £3700, now awaiting the official offer letter from Tesco but I am V V pleased!!!:money::money::D:D:D
That puts my grand total to around £5700 successfully reclaimed!!0 -
I received 19 (yes, NINETEEN!!!) of those "you will have recently receiveda letter..." letters today from barclays! I have no idea what loans these apply to - I continuously requested details of my loans previously held, but just keep getting standard letters. I have managed to fill in three of the questionairres sent, but would be interested to know what these other 16 loans I appear to have had are!!!0

Afternoon everyone
i am just wondering does anyone know what month RBS are working through, or are they saying that it is still under investigation after 10 months  i feel like there is more that i could do, any ideas?
Hi, I got my upheld letter last Friday (which incidentally is incorrect) I put my claim in last August so that might help you work out where there at, but my was a loan and different depts are working at different speeds, I think.0 -
I am beginning to get very suspicious of RBS, as after reading a few other posts on here I get the feeling that RBS, for one, are sending out letters incorrectly with incorrect amounts and loan details. Personally I think this is so they can meet the 31/8 deadline so therefore not breaking any rules "cos hey we have replied to everyone" My complaint was upheld on an £8k loan and they have worked out they only owe me £302.00 which is incorrect. I have spoken with them and they are looking into this, but I bet this will take some time, but as I said earlier because they have in effect replied to me about my complaint within the timescale, even if its wrong, they can now deal with this as a new complaint!!! Very clever and very sneaky of them, if that's the case!! I'm like others on here banks are very quick to hound you to end of world for owing them, but when its on the other foot its a different story, can't wait to use their excuses next time I'm chased for money by the bank.:mad:0

Hi
Below is the response I have just received from customer services at Lloyds regarding me email asking when my refund would be bank in my bank account.
Thank you for your e-mail communication. I can confirm the payment can take up to 21 days to reach your account from the date of our offer letter to you. Unfortunately we cannot give you a specific date and would ask that you appreciate this is the longest lead time but it is there to manage our customer’s expectations. As you can appreciate we are experiencing high volumes of concerns at present due to recent media publicity.

Called FOS - they advise this was sent over to them on 5/8, rang LLoyd back , the response was mmm well maybe its been lost in the post ?
Great Eh !!
Now the FOS line has a fault on it and advises to call back later
Well done to all the winners so far :rotfl:0 -
Hey everyone and congrats to all who have had good news recently.
Please could someone help, I had a loan with Sainsbury's bank who are upholding but i just wondered if anyone can work out what i may receive back?
Loan was for £5000 taken out Sept 2005 over 60 months. 8.5%.
It says the PPI was for £1896.96. Monthly payment was £141.71.
Any rough estimates would be great thank you x0 -
