Sorry to hear about hubby.
Press on with your claims I'm sure you'll get more back off them than if you tried to make a claim to have his payments covered following his redundancy0 -

I put the complaint in end of June and got this last week. They hadn't even asked me why I was complaining and I can't remember what was on the card!
Have now had a letter from Barclays extending the review time to 24th November, even though the time limit was up 3rd October!!! They also asked me to fill out a form although that is how I made my complaint in the first place, so annoying!!
Hi.
I had a good Egg payout too.
Guess what Barclays did exactly the same to me asked me to fill in a form that I had already sent with the initial complaint. When I contacted them about this I was told they had probably LOST the original  I wonder if these are delaying tactics.
Good luck.

I have a letter from Lloyds dated 1st July giving an offer of settlement saying that the money will be paid into my account 'as soon as possible' I rang to ask when this would be and they told me they had to give 14 days to allow me to change my mind if I wanted to and then 'up to 21 days' for the money to go into my account. That time was up last week to I rang again to ask how long it would take when he told me that it was 'on the spreadsheet' (whatever that means) and would now take a couple of days.
Eight days later and still waiting0 -
Hi. Could anyone please give me the number to contact for Santander cards(debenhms/evans store cards) mis-sold ppi?0

.............
I have realised that my vanquis credit card company have been charging £50 a month for a ppi that I was totally unaware of! I have wrote to the company approximately 8 wks ago but have had no response. Does anybody have the email address for the CEO of vanquis and has anybody had any joy with claiming with them?
Hi,
Vanquis appear to be part of Provident Financial Group, whose CEO is Peter Crook (ah, you just couldnt make it up, could you?)
peter.crook@providentfinancial.com
However, before emailing him, did you send the request via recorded post or similar as they may well ask you to prove you sent it if they claim they havent received it?
If you did send recorded/special/whatever, might be worth calling general customer services at:
08455 19 15 23
(cant seem to find an email address for their cs, only a webform)
Just so you can demonstrate you have been reasonable before heading for the CEO?
-
Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!
