Do you by any slim chance happen to work for the company you mentioned?
Your post has been reported and no doubt your IP will also be traced
JOLF - edit out the company name in your quote as I've done above-
Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

- When did the card actually start?
The card started on 03/08/2005. These are all the charges I can find at the moment - just need to get a SAR to get the rest.
- What's the APR % that you have been charged on the card?
The APR on the card is 20%
Hi,
OK, if we use the August 2009 as an example and calculate via HERE:
Principal = £65.38
Rate = 20
Years = 2
Press "calculate" button, gives -
£94.15 total, of which £28.77 is the compound interest at "20"% APR
£28.77
If however the same premium had been charged in August 2005 instead of August 2009, the amounts would be:
Total = £192.40
Of which compound interest would be £127.02
So you really need to get those old statements out of them (given its only 6 years ago, there should be no excuses for them to give all the details)
If you had managed £60 premium every month of the cards existence (bar the 1st month) then your claim could well be in excess of £10,000 :eek: once you have allowed for simple interest of 8% in addition to the premiums and compound interest-
Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

Some cracking stuff there Peter!
If that MBNA is a credit card I hope its been running for years, as at £60/month on the PPI it will be worth a stuffing fortune!
(if you search the thread for MBNA you'll see several have had large payouts from them)
Oh, if only I had taken my cards with MBNA instead of Capital One!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Great to hear of all the successes...they are really rolling in!
Well done to everyone, I am just thrilled for you!:D:D

We dont need them tar, too many good people helping on the forum,
:T
oh yes and their advice is FREE, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Please, no one should ever be tempted to hand their cash to a claims company!
I did..started before I found everyone here...I did all the work for the claim...even corrected their info,told them what points were key in contesting the sale.. and then handed back money when I won!:mad::mad:
The rest of my claims are down to me....I no longer have any money to hand over for "old rope!!";)
With the knowledge available on this forum you can easily out perform the "case managers " in these companies!!:)

Am with you, tifosi...think this is an ad...but for sure, not the place to post it...!
We have been conned once.:mad:..this forum is to enable us to take action on our own behalf!
If I want to give my money away, I have several favourite charities, and claims companies don't feature in that list!!:rotfl:x0 -
unfortunately i did use a company and wish i had persued my claims myself especially when i found they had buried my welcome finance application form for 2 months in the file with my completed sainsburys claim! so now i have to wait even longer to see if welcome finance pay up!
wanted to add my succes with sainsburys
i took a loan out (think it was 2004/5) online with them for 2,500
received 1,500 back from them about two months ago for that loan! (however the company i used took nearly 500 pounds of it!)
I am now wondering if i am due back any money from the credit card that they made me have at the same time i took out the loan but i am going to try to persue that one myself!
i am waiting on 2 claims from welcome finance who i understand are rubbish at giving back money but wondered how many people have had success at getting their money back from them? (both mine were for car finance, however one was from 2004 and the other from 2007 both fully paid now tho!)
also, question... am i right in thinking that people have got money back from catalogues and such like for ppi insurance?thanks0 -

Hiya
Good luck on your reclaiming, and yes you can make a reclaim on ppi sold on catalogues, store cards and so on.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just thinking, the longer these banks delay on paying out, the more they have to pay out. There is no way anyone could get 8% interest in any savings policy, so am beginning to think there is no rush providing they do eventually pay out.
Mind it still does not stop me keep coming back here to see all the nice success stories0 -
Yet again, Santander are showing others the way it should be done
None of this constantly quoting 8/16 week deadlines and failing to give correct information, just a clear, quick investigation and the right amount returned to the missold customer
RBS, LTSB, HSBC and Barclays - are you reading this you bunch of "not very nice people"?
If Sanatnder can constantly and repeatedly receive, investigate and pay out inside of a week WHY cant you?
There is no excuse, and its about time the FSA etc stopped constantly falling on the banks side and started fining BIG time for these completely inexcusable delays

WHAT ARE LLOYDS PLAYING AT
1.30th july received an offer letter dated 26th july for 4,500 and if i was happy with offer need not do anything if they don't here from me then they will process the refund into my account
2.1st august rang them to find out how long the process would take the gentleman said they wait 7 days for me to reply if not happy and then another 21days for the money to be transferred into my account so in total 28 days none of this was stated in the letter
3.post came this morning got all excited because i have another 3 claims with them and that is due by 31st august when i opened it it was a loan statement for a current loan i have it shows that they took my regular payment on 1st august then it shows 975.00 received from me on 2nd august i phoned up to find out what was going on and to be told that they had taken it out of my final settlement i told him that how dare they do that i was told in the letter that all monies would be refunded back to my account he apoligised and said that he would email the refund department and tell them to refund it all to me so my grievience is that they didnot even wait 3 days to take some of my money to pay off my loan but i have to wait 28 days for the rest of it to hit my account they are making us wait unneccessary:mad:0
