    Hi, was just wondering if anyone had a result with Lloyds yet? I got refused for my first letter and sent my second letter about 2-3 weeks ago..was just wondering if anyone had any luck?

    thanks!

    Hi there
    Please keep at them, they were not easy with me either, mine is now actually being dealt with by an adjudicator by the FOS, this one though Credit Card PPI, have the loan PPI's to get on with yet, keep us posted in order for us to help you and send them an email now and again on lloyds internet support, they will pass on the message and give them a bit of a nudge the same time.;)

  • Hi. I bought 2 sofas from DFS and took out a loan for 18 months. I was told I had to have insurance or I wouldn't be accepted for the loan!! I stupidly believed them and went ahead with the loan arrangement. Saw Martins article, downloaded letter and have just recieved a cheque from HSBC for £108. Their letter explained that I wasn't miss sold the insurance as all my options were fully explained to me (they weren't) and they were only returning the money as a good will gesture. Make what you will of that!!!! Martin you're a hero:money:

  • * Loan
    * Natwest
    * £1444
    * I sent the first letter, received a form to fill in with further details of what I was unhappy with, then waited about 2 months before sending the reminder letter, got a phone call to say they never received the first letter but would deal with my issues(?), then got another phone cal saying they sent a letter out 2 months previously but they would resend it. Letter stated refund!! woo hoo!

    So after some confusion everything was groovy!
    Did this for my boyfriend and he was well chuffed! Thanks MSE!:j

  • Hi, I remember someone posting a letter template on here that you sent to a firm requesting they give you copies of everything they hold on you. Does anyone know where I can download a copy of this?

    Also, if a firm tells you that they have lost the taped telephone conversation they recorded whilst selling you the PPI would the FOS look badly on this?

    Hi there
    I will find the SAR in a min but there is also another one posted on these threads, you will also find them on the Reclaiming discussion thread if you want to check it out there.

    The company should keep records for 6 years and still have transcripts of phone calls so either way I do think you have a case here hunni.;)

    I will post the SAR to you here in a min when I find it but its up to you if you want to check out the other mentioned thread for another form of SAR.;)
