PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Saw a message from fellow MSE'er on discussion thread who'd had money credited to her loan account so I went and checked mine!!!

I've got 2 credits.... one for £1.75...... and a huge one of £4.12.....

The single premium PPI on that loan was £4,900 plus interest.....:mad:
What are they playing at?:mad::mad: Not to mention the other 2 PPI complaints I have in with them!! :mad::mad::mad:

Just a quick update today received a letter from Halifax asking for more time should be sorted in 16 weeks or sooner. So fingers crossed . Thanks for info

Whoah thats fast well done! Do you mind me asking were they for old loans or recent? I have a few recentish loans but reckoned theyd have procedures watertight ? Think they about 2yrs ago so wasnt going to bother trying
