  • Happy to report a Lloyds TSB Credit Card PPI success.

Has taken two years through the FOS but received a cheque on Christmas Eve for twice the amount I was expecting, plus £200 compensation on top for inconvenience and distress.

Got to say the FOS were fantastic, always communicating, only a phone call away. They must be so busy to!

    Very happy with this result!
  • Sorry I havent been about for a long time.. I hope all the regulars are in good health and happy.

I just wanted to keep you up to date. In 2009 we were awarded a refund of PPI for an Egg Loan + interest..very good news. However we did not have our loan recalculated so thanks to the advice on here I took it to the FOS in January 2010. They have been brilliant and in early December 2010 they got Egg to agree to 8% interest to be paid back, recalculate our loan and £200 compensation. I am hoping this will wipe out our loan and that will leave us £450 per month better off. I am still waiting to hear from Egg, hopefully it wont be too long now. I know the process is lengthy but it is worth pursuing your claim good luck. Thank you to all the encouragers on here you are shining lights. x

Would just like to thank this site and everyone's contributions. My OH has a loan with welcome finance and when he got in arrears i asked him to get copies of his agreement. Obviously PPI was added. We first sent a letter in October and this morning have recieved an acceptance form for £909 compensation :j:j:j:ji know it isnt as much as some people but his loan was only for £2000.

We really couldn't of done it without you lot :) i am so greatful for everything.

If anyone is thinking about reclaiming - get it done. One simple questionnaire and thats it :T

Just got £1900 back from Bank of Scotland for a loan they had put a single premium PPI on, got it after sending the questionnaire but took them a long time to respond so will have to call the FOS off!

    Well done on your success!!!:j:j:j
Just wondered how long exactly it took for them to agree to pay up as i have 3 seperate claims with RBS who have put them all on hold pending the court case.

    Thanks
