    Egg Loan
    Received £589

After looking on this forum I thought for the price of a stamp its worth giving it a go. Downloaded the template, found the details of my repaid egg loan, sent off the papers - 10 days later I had a letter offering me £589 payment. It couldnt have been easier and thanks to Martin for such good advice.:j

    Brilliant, well done to you!

Thanks! Ok, so I have just logged into my internet banking and have seen that I have received a payment of £4427.

I was expecting £3768 so am a bit confused with the additional £600+ - does anyone know why it would be more than what I was told I was getting?.......not that I am complaining of course. :)

hi everybody i am looking for advice on how to reclaims my ppi with personal loans i had how do i go about it any advice would be great thanks
First of all, take a look here for reasons you may have been mis sold.

If any apply to you then on the link i have posted above you will find a template letter, fill this in and send to the bank that sold you the ppi.If there are several loans with the same bank then make sure you put all account numbers. If you prefer, you can write a letter in your own words saying you were mis sold this ppi because.... if you have the account numbers then go ahead and reclaim. If you dont have the accounr numbers then request the agreements from the banks, they charge a £1 for this, you could phone the bank and ask for this info (sometimes they just give it you). If you need anymore help just shout.
SORRY!!! JUST NOTICED DI HAS POSTED !! did not realise this was last night.

Feeling good, second success against the banks!

Was reclaiming PPI on a secured loan from Imagine Finance, just short of £8k back (returned monies, interest & comp)
. Took quite a while as Imagine tried every stalling trick in the book. ( We've been at it since Jan 2010). Thought they might try to postpone settlement pending the pending banks latest collective ruse against PPI claims, but no cheque is on its way as we speak.

Xmas is gonna be a wee bit better now.
 Well done and congrats :j:j

  • Hi,
Apologies if this is not the right place to post this, this is my first time on the forum.

I currently have a PPI reclaim going ahead with RBS. I am becoming increasingly disappointed in them and their time taking to be honest. I just wondered if anyone else had any experience of dealing with them and what time scale they may have taken in the past? They have had my claim since the 12th October and although I have received confirmation that its being dealt with whenever I ring them they just say it is ''waiting to be worked on''....incredibly frustrating as i have been told this now for a number of weeks. I was thinking of emailing the CEO to see if this would speed things up as this money would make a world of difference to us this christmas.

Many thanks in anticipation of your help :-)
