I wondered whether Martin could find out something for us, given that Lloyds don't exactly confide in us.
  • Hi Bonnie and Marshallka,

I've not come across anyone who has had more than one additional refund I'm afraid. Bonnie - you say yours have all segued into each other - was the account number of the one they refunded the additional money to the first/last one in the chain? Just another thought.............

    Hi Di,

I'm wondering whether this additional refund is to do with loans that were refinanced into a second one with Lloyds (the one of ours that has just received this additional sum was then refinanced into a second loan with them)...........you mention two loans from 2001/2002 - this one didn't happen to be refinanced, did it?

Just my musings - probably completely wrong ;)

    Hi LL

    That is a possibility.
All our loans were also refinanced from one to another and another 2003 and 2004......
The account number on this refund is that from a 2001 loan.

Did try posting back earlier and don't know if anyone else been having problems with this site, or if its just my puter, but when posted the page came up blank, very frustrating.

    Hi Di,

We only had the two that were refinanced - the additional refund relates to the first of these two...............

    Yes defo.

Strange they did not actually give a full detailed explanation on the letter though isn't it?
Only the basic that they made a mistake on the calculations and that they are sorry lol.

Ok well I've checked mine, and it's an extra payment on the 4th of 5 claims. Sorry to screw up that theory!
