Thanks. No, not to my knowledge. I'm using the FreedomPop SIM in a phone not otherwise used for calls, though I did have a free Three data SIM a couple of months ago. I think the answer lies there, thanks to you.

I made a mistake with the other calls, though. Our nearby burglar alarm came on (false alarm) and we are among first responders. I grabbed the nearest phone to call, and it was this one. Sorry for the confusion.

Not sure where they have got their mailing list from. I think they are storing addresses even if you just used their check availability screens.
Just checked one of my little used email addresses and found an invitation to a free card (£1.99 p&p).
When I clicked through it showed a partial billing address. This was not my real address but possibly a postcode that I may have entered into check availability. Although I have used that email address elsewhere but not sure if with that postcode.
I notice that the check availability screens now go further with select address.

I'm waiting until they have number porting to even contemplate using them in my main phone.

One thing i did notice - they are setup like 3 data sims as the test phone made no attempt to roam onto Orange in a 2G only area unlike a standard 3 phone sim - I had to rely on wifi.

To get this far, I had to select a SIM and acknowledge delivery address, so I'm a bit confused - not sure if this is an upgrade to my existing SIM, it looks like a new SIM altogether.

Anybody else have this offer?

It's a new SIM with a new number. So now we have two 07400 numbers, one for each of us.

I had an email this morning so it would be a new sim as I didn't have a sim before, says its completely free, no delivery charge now or £5 as before

I had the black friday deal deal, signed up and registered. 1000min 1000mb text and 500mb data. Free activation and shipping. It said I could revert to free plan 200min, txt and data within the trial month. However, in my account option it does not exist.

Any idea?

It does, look at the small print at the bottom of the "My Plan" box, but if you do it now you revert immediately to the free plan. You might want to wait until you've used most of the free offer and do it on day 29.

A question from The Boss: must the FreedomPop SIM be inserted in a smartphone?

I'm thinking yes as the underlying support is from Three. OTOH, could calls be made using data on a non-smartphone? Thanks.
