  • Your best bet if yo don't get the number is tweet them, you'll get a response from someone in the UK and probably a call back eventually(then you will have the number). I have checked ad its not in my recent calls anymore unfortunately but I think the conclusion of Supercard refunds is the only way you will get them resolved is by speaking to someone in the UK, nothing ever gets done if you speak to the Asian call centre, they are fine for basic queries but not anything involving money!

It's going mainstream. Email I've just had:
Thank you for being part of the Travelex Supercard pilot. We're delighted to say you've been part of an enormous success. Simply by using Supercard, people like you have effortlessly avoided bank card roaming charges when spending abroad. To date, Supercard has been used every two minutes in over 43 countries around the world. Hurrah!

And that's why we want you to be amongst the first to hear the good news: Supercard has the green light to launch nationwide this summer. That means all your friends and family will at last have the opportunity to get a Supercard and start saving too.

To allow for a smooth transition, the Supercard pilot will formally come to a close at 00:01 on Tuesday 7th June 2016, and your current card will stop working on that date. But, fear not, you’ll be the first to know about how you can get your hands on a free new Supercard and we'll be in touch again nearer the time with full details.

Meanwhile, please carry on using your Supercard and say goodbye to bank card roaming charges.

I'll be miffed if I don't have it early July. Or if the T&Cs deteriorate.

Same email here. Hope it is as seamless and the new card comes beforehand, or that's summer holidays scuppered

Does it really matter now that the Revolut card is available?
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

    Same email earlier today.

Got travel plans around then too.

Why on earth they need to cancel the cards and issue news ones is a mystery. Unless it's to change the terms and conditions. Likewise why there'll be a gap between the old card and the new card arriving.

Sorry to hear it is ending. I found it brilliant. No messing with exchanges just find the nearest bank when you arrive to get holiday cash. Best of all it used to cost an arm and a leg transferring funds for maintain gym second home in France. With Travelex I just draw out what I want at my French bank ATM ghe go in and put into my account, it costs nothing to do. I have used it all across the EU with never a problem. I'll be reapplying for sure.

The Revolut card recently introduced a fair use policy that could cost some users. They may be better off with the Supercard.

The Revoult card isn't as flexible as the Supercard, and you still have to load it up.

The Supercard, with it's quirks sorted out would be king of all prepay type cards (I know it's not prepay but still). But, I imagine now that it's rolling out nationwide, they will need to find a way to make money from it.
