Does anyone know if there is a fee if I use it in the UK but in a Euro machine?

I can't be sure but I suspect so. I've never used an ATM which dispenses Euros in the UK but my guess is that the machine will arrange for you to be debited in Sterling at a rate which it computes rather than offering you the option of being debited in Euros. That rate is unlikely to be competitive.

I could be wrong though; I'm just surmising.

When ive used my own bank card it debits in euros and my own bank applies the conversion, at their rate plus fee etc

Just wondering what why it will work if I try using the supercard if it counts as a uk transaction

I just received my card today. Odd as originally I was told the trial was full so I was no longer expecting it... so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which now wants a password I don't believe I ever created as I can't reset it...

Has anyone found a way of accessing their account at this point: card with account number but no password - without calling them?

I was pretty much in that state when someone advised of the website tuxedoprepaid.com which allows a password reminder - sent in the clear, no security - with the password instantly recognised by myself, oops.

Having also sent an email to support just prior to visiting the website, some days later support emailed me (in the clear, no security) a new password (now changed in the app). For reasons unknown, the PIN was also changed by support - fluke I noticed this whilst tinkering within the app.

This is looking too much of a shambles for my liking and I have turned the SuperCard off in the app so it cannot be used. Ideally I'd delete the only linked card - just in case - but I can't see how to do that.
  • I have been using this card for a month now with no problems. I have however this week encountered one. I tried to withdraw some euros in Spain yesterday and it told me to contact my bank. I rang supercard and they said there was a computer problem and they would call back (which they did about 30 minutes ago)

I needed the money as I'm a coach driver and had to pay parking etc. So I put the card in the machine and tried again. Hey presto....but....I now have two transactions showing on my supercard app and two lots of money pending out the bank even though the cash machine only gave me one lot. Supercard have told me to contact the bank as they have already authorised both transactions. Waiting for a call back from Lloyds to see what's going to happen but I am worried I am going to have to fight to get my money back

Someone else has mentioned something similar re: multiple transactions for the same purchase. Doesn't bode well.

The advice at the moment seems to be if it doesn't work the first time, don't try again. :(

Well, I'm past the 14 working day window and still no charges have hit my linked card. Part of me wants to chase up supercard to see what's going on, but I kind if think that its their problem, not mine.

There's quite a few around - mostly airports or train stations, or in London.
