Can anyone confirm from first hand experience:

    (1) They have used their Supercard linked to a UK credit card at an ATM abroad and that it has shown on their credit card statement as a regular purchase?
    (2) The above transaction incured no interest charge on their UK credit card
    (3) They received reward/cashback on their UK credit card for this transaction?

I can't confirm though I've read others who have here and in other places. I think you should be good as this is billed as purchases. It can also be used online for purchases billed in foreign currencies

Link to a site that confirms an ATM withdrawal loaded from a reward credit card went through as a purchase.

    http://www.headforpoints.com/2015/06/15/my-experiences-with-using-my-travelex-supercard/

"What was most impressive is that the €120 ATM cash withdrawal has gone through my IHG Rewards Club credit card as a purchase. This means I will earn points on it and will not pay any cash advance fees or interest."

The only weakness of the card seems to be the differential between MasterCard and Visa exchange rates. Which can be offset by earning points or cash back on your source credit card.
  • I used Supercard to pay for ESTAs (USD) 3 weeks ago. Still hasn't been charged to my card (Visa Debit) and transaction no longer showing on Supercard app, although it did originally. Anyone else experienced delays in bank being debited?

I'm getting tired of waiting. Want to book a holiday in Euros, my credit and debit cards charge 2.75-2.99% fee for non-sterling so the Supercard sounded like the perfect solution (I have a Halifax credit card so I can't get the clarity).

Had an email at 09:10 on 13th May from Supercard to say it was on it's way, then a further email on 28th to say there had been a slight delay but still no sign of it

Kalixa Pay Mastercard would have been in your hands weeks ago. If someone refers you, you get a £5 rebate.

I downloaded the app and registered on 14th May and my supercard has arrived today. So far so good. I have made a test transaction of $4.99 and they have charged me £3.22 whereas xe.com says it should be £3.20. However the exchange rate applied is that of VISA today.

I've been using my card extensively since 28th May in the USA (California and Hawaii mainly).

    few things I've observed.
Ive racked up about £2000 worth of spend so far, and none of it has hit my online statement unbilled or otherwise. I'm using a Tesco cc. I can see available credit is reduced, but doesn't reflect total spend.

Also, USA doesn't use chip and pin, swipe only. This has caused some declined messages back to the retailer, however the amount has shown up as a successful transaction on the app. Ive had to use an alternate card to pay for my goods. Currently in discussion with Travelex about a refund of these transactions.

Cash is being dispensed via ATM Machines, and I've only got a Tesco cc linked.

Horizontal placement of text is confusing a lot of retailers who swipe it!

So mixed experiences, mainly positive. Concerned about lack of visibility of my purchases on my Tesco cc but will give it a few more days before raising with travelex.
