Quick bit of feedback from using my supercard for the first time earlier this week:-
Used to withdraw CHF and EUR cash with no problems
Paid in restaurant and hotel with no issues
Would not work in payment for French road tolls(card instantly refused by machine)
Sixt refused to accept the card in Geneva airport for a hire car - they claim its not a credit card.
None of the charges have made it to my credit card yet, so I'm still waiting to check that its not classed as a cash advance.
The app worked fine, and you can see the transactions and rate given almost instantly which is nice - found this good to "understand" exactly what you had just paid rather than working it out roughly in my head0 -

French toll road, petrol stations and all other automated machines don't like UK debit cards and some credit cards for some weird reason. So nothing new there.
And Sixt are correct it's not a credit card. Why they need a credit card though to rent a car is beyond me. What's wrong with a debit card?0 -

It isnt so they are correct.
"Technically" you are correct, however, clause 6.3 states "The Supercard may be used for the purpose of car hire or to pay for hotel accommodation. You should be aware that the merchant may estimate Your bill, and if You use Your Supercard as a guarantee for the estimated amount, the funds will be reserved on Your linked card and will be temporarily unavailable to access or spend. It could take up to 15 days for the reserved funds to be made available which could restrict further spending on Your linked card.
So they could have treated it as a credit card, but refused to even try it in the machine, so worth making sure you have an alternative payment method just in case0 -

In the past that was the case, but for the last year or so I've had no problems using my UK credit card to pay for tolls and Fuel, in fact I used the supercard, in a petrol station, although not for pay at the pump0
