I contacted them to ask whether they charge credit cards as purchases or cash advances, this was the response...Thank you for writing to customer care.
Please be informed that credit card link option is not available as of now. As you would only be able to link your bank debit card to make transactions using SuperCard. However, in future if it is applicable then answer to your query will be - Cash withdrawn from Credit card will be treated as purchase by your credit card provider.
Should you require any further information then, please contact us on support@supercard.io
I'm not linking my card until the Supercard arrives, then I will report back.

I just succeeded at last, and got to the "congratulations" screen so it must still be open.0

Looks like things are starting to unravel already? And no one even has a card yet!

So, I can link up to five debit cards......err, and that's it? I somehow thought the CC companies were never going to let this one run. I think we have our answer? And how long will it take the banks to block it? Does anyone seriously believe that the banks are going to let you dodge the ATM fee?
I have the strangest feeling that this card will quickly morph into some kind of Travelex currency card type thing.
Sorry ML,but I think you may have to edit the Travel Money title....Clarity 'remains' the king of cards!
If,by some chance,I actually receive a Supercard,it will (a) Stay in the envelope until (b) Its been proven to work....and its actually of some use!0 -
You say dodge the ATM fee but the reason issuers have to charge a cash advance fee is that there is a thing called reverse interchange where an issuer pays the acquirer and the acquirer the merchant or bank for access to it's ATM network. Travelex will have to pay this.0

From correspondence I have had with Travelex, it appears that firstly, it's only debit cards that you can attach the card to, and secondly, that you cannot get a card for your partner - your partner has to open their own account.0

They have no idea how this product works...

@RabbieA No probs - you can register debit & credit cards (Visa/MasterCard only). ATM w/drawals are registered as point of sale transactions0 -
