I am glad that others have noticed the difference in their cakes when they use a processor or kenwood to mix them. mine are always flat.
last week i couldn't be bothered to drag the kenwood out of the cupboard and just mixed it up by hand and what an enormous difference it made to my sponge. i didnt realise at the time it was because i mixed it by hand i had thought i had just got lucky.
thanks to you helpful people i now know whats been going wrong.
thanks to you all

Gentle hug and we will be thinking of you today.
Need to stay in to wait for new fridge to be delivered.
That will be a real relief as we have not had one since Sunday.
Going to have some breakfast - keep turning towards the fridge for bacon, milk or cheese and there is nothing there!
DD(13) is looking forward to tomorrrow as that is when the cast comes off her arm - she keeps comlaining that it itches and is hot in this weather."This site is addictive!"

to everyone who is having neighbour troubles,i sympathise with you all.We live on a rough estate (we bought our house nearly 2 years ago and was all we could afford)
our estate has a mix of council owned and private owned.the people that have bought their houses take a bit of pride, those who are DSS dont.( sorry to appear to be stereotyping, its more an observation)
a few months back the bloke who lives in front of us got SHOT! (something to do with drugs, brill eh?)
theres a single mum who has parties every night till all hours.
the teenagers all get drunk at the local shop.
a few weeks back after taking mutley for a run, i was driving home and ran over another neighbour,(a 17 year old who was completely p**sed and didnt even look before he ran out into the road and over my bonnet)
i did the right thing phoned the police went and told his Mum
Mum was also quite drunk and told me it was fine and you know what kids are lilke.
all that before we start on the little darlings knock a door, boot a door, egg a door running:mad:
sorry about that little rant,im down off my soapbox now -promise.
hope everyone has a nie day will call back laters

Just lost my post again!
JackieO will be thinking of you!
Slept so badly. Woke 2:30, (nearly started this thread then!) and moved to sofa because I ached so much from 3.5 hr lottie visit the other day. Could not get comfortable and moved so OH could sleep. Of course, he couldn't get back to sleep so instead of getting up at 5, he got up at 8 and will be late into work . I think I'm in his bad booksOf course, I was more comfie with head and legs up on arms of small 2 people sofa, so I slept from 4-7 until I heard neighbour go out.
Must finally do loads today that I keep putting off. Picking up water butt bins from freecycler which means emptying out lawn mower from car, and doing a MR T shop whilst I'm in the same town. Also really must sort carboot stuff out. I just keep getting overwhelmed by it, but OH really pushing for us to do sale. I'm so sure we'll sell less than last years that I'm worried his goodwill won't last. Going to price up items though - we just need rid of it and he can then just take money whilst I'm free to deal with other people.
Not updating sig until after Mr T shop but since I'm bulkbuying cat supplies in prep for Oct hol whilst Mr T gives me a double points coupon I know I'll be spending too much.
Have a productive and fun day folks.0 -
