    Good Morning all

Dear JackieO, I too have a candle burning for you & I will go to the garden & commune with my lavender bushes & think of you.

I had a lovely lunch yesterday with my friend, she has 2 days holiday next week so we are going to Swindon to shop, well she will shop, I'll wander around with her, lol.

Todays plans are to clear 2 boxes of filing & some more sewing, what an exciting life I lead!

    Hugs to all
    Hester

    Morning all

Jackie O (((hugs))) hope everything goes well, and if you get the urge to give that nice registrar's bum a pinch, blame it on the anaesthetic ;)

Tidying, baking and Ebaying planned for today. Got a call to do a pizza delivery mystery shopper tonight, but after making my own, I think I will give it a miss :D

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning morning

Yet again I'm at work. Just had a smoothie, which was lovely. Not HM but at least it was healthy!! Had a pig out day yesterday, so I must be better behaved today:rotfl:

JackieO not all media peeps slag of forums. I work in media and here I am! I'm a buck in the trend! Seriously though, I'm thinking of you hun

I can actually go home on time today. The person I was meant to have a meeting with, was a no show two days running, meaning I wasted over 3 hours of my life sitting around waiting for them:mad:

Still very tired, but I'm on a late shift tomorrow so at least I can have a bit of a lie in. Getting up at 4am really knocks it out of you.

Found a good saving yesterday in Superdrug. I was looking for replacement razor heads, and the pack of 4 was around £7.50, but by chance I notices the back of 8, which is normally over £12, was down to just over £8:T :money:

I've been asked out on a date. Seeing him at the weekend. I don't know if there's anything there, but it's a chance to go out, so I'm grabbing it! Plus hope the ex gets to hear just how quick I've moved on!! :p Still no word on my cash though:mad:

    Hope everyone's ok

JackieO - go and kick a**e (((hugs)))

Bit dull at the moment here but is meant to be sunny here yipee especially so as this is the first day I will have been out of my office for a decent length of time. DS is off to football - his last day so will be going early to pick him up as they are having a world cup.

DD and me are going shopping in Chelmsford which is a lovely shopping centre, we will be heading to New Look to get her some shorts also need school shoes and trainers. DD is tall and very very skinny so shopping isnt that easy with her. Hopefully will persuade her to go somewhere nice for lunch not MD's and will be treating myself to a lovely costa mocha coffee.

Chilli for dinner tonight have moved my menu plan around slightly.

Pen-Pen - well done on the race for life.

Off now for a quick surf then into the bath - have a good one.

JackieO - Best of luck - hurry back to us.

Catowen - My lawns need cutting too while you're at it.....no??? Tut! :D

DD2 was discharged from the consultant yesterday for her broken arm - it's healed so quickly - she's pleased and said her summer holidays start now! (Typically it's overcast and chilly here this morning!) Both DD's are heading off to my parents for the weekend - 2 whole child free nights - we're going to blow the budget and go to the cinema and out for a drink - how decadent are we!

Walked for about 5 miles yesterday and feel all zingy this morning - going to get all the covers on the sofa washed today and attack all the rugs with the steam cleaner - we're plagued with fleas at the moment - both cats have been treated yet again - much to their disgust - and it's time to strip out all the rooms and get round the edges - great fun.

Hope you all have a wonderous day.

Morning all. I just posted a long post and lost it - that's the first time that has happened to me when it's not been my fault!

    AMIE - where are you?

(((hugs))) to JACKIEO - candle is lit and emanating a warm positive glow.

PENPEN - Well done to you and your DD. You must feel very proud.

LIL-ME - I get excited when I have new kitchen things! I don't even mind getting them as birthday or Christmas presents!

SCUZZ - good luck with your date!

DONNY-GAL - I have a raclette that we bought in France; it has a cooking stone on the top and a grill element underneath with individual pans so eight people can cook their own dinner at the table - it's such a sociable way to have friends round to for dinner.

Well, the sun is shining away merrily - will put the WM on in a minute. I'll go to the gym mid-morning then mow the lawn - depending on how k******d I am afterwards. Nothing much else to report - still ploughing through my paperwork. I only have four things in the ironing basket at the moment - I've forgotten the last time that happened!

Well, off to have a shower - see you later.

(((hugs))) to Pink-Winged, JackieO, Kyle's LO and all who need them.

    Morning Everyone!

jackieo - best wishes for today, hope it all goes well xx

Yesterday I decided to a coffee and walnut cake - but instead of by hand I thought I would do it in the food processor - Well what a disaster! The sponge didnt rise very well at all:confused: Has anyone else found that happens?

Had a nice time in the park yesterday, then cut the grass and mum dead-head some bushes when we got home, she does like it, especially as she doesnt have a garden now she's in a warden flat.

Pennypenguin - Well done to all those who took part and raised money:T
Whats the latest on the Chooks pen??

    Have a good thursday everyone!
