Imagine what will happen if they do ban hair dye. Most of the celebrities on TV will be unrecognisable.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
i can't see anything online about the hair dye recall.... was it on the lunchtime news? i've been on the bbc website and can't find anything from more recently than last year..... i just want to see what brands are being recalled or if it's a more universal warning!:happyhear0

I always make my hair dye kit do two treatments by only mixing half of each solution. It works great on my not-so-thick hair with no differance in the finished colour or how long it lasts.
I have been doing this for years (Just remember to only mix HALF, never the whole lot then halve it as once mixed it MUST be used immediatly.)

I'm about 30% grey with dark brown hair, and though I'm prepared to go grey gracefully, I don't plan to do that until I'm at least 40!!
Errrrrrr ...I recall saying that....then I changed it to 50...... then i had my 50th and hell, I am still too young to be grey!!!
Perhaps I should start looking at the blue rinses, but perhps they are full of toxic stuff too!!!0 -

juno wrote:Lush do some hair dyes that fit all your requirements, except they aren't particularly OS and are probably expensive
They aren't actually all *that* expensive. I just looked thanks to your advice and they're 5.95. All natural based, and the reviews of them sound great, so I reckon I'll give it a go.
Moggins: Hehe, feel the same as you regarding not being grey, but have seen too many close people with cancer to take the least risk now. Why risk it when there's an alternative?

Softstuff I should agree with you really as I've already had breast cancer but Caca Brun takes about 6 hours to develop. The only time I have 6 hours to myself is when I'm asleepOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Moggins, you surprise me... a whole six hours where you're doing nothing?? Isn't it time to reclaim that wasted time and use it to dye your hair??:rotfl:
I figure, if I apply it when I get home from work, wrap my head in clingfilm, I can do whatever with it on.
And if I get any double glazing salesmen at the door it'll scare the pants off em... bonus!Softstuff- Officially better than 0070
