Oh boy - 2.40 and the monsters still didn't go to sleep - It's almost as bad as being hit over the head with a tractor at 6.50 am. Hope you managed to get some sleep.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0

Sounds like here. Am working which is why I'm here..... sitting by an analyser which spits out a sample every four minutes. Am doing a job which means I get four minutes off in every five, but hey, them's the breaks huh?
Right then, you're a useful person to have around actually. MrsA is fed up of missing out on her favourite foods on WW, or at least the quantities she likes of themCan you swap between points and Core plans as often as you like, even week by week if you chose to (although obviously not day by day)?
Or is it that once you're on one, you're on it for a minimum amount of time?0 -
Nope - as far as I know (and I'm SURE it's in the book this time). You can switch between the points plan and core plan every week if you want to.
What foods is Mrs A missing out on?Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Good morning all,
Am very proud of myself today as I went to the gym yesterday all on my own. I usually go with my friend but find it so easy to build the gym up as a scary place and talk myself out of it if she is not going. Anyway she is changing her gym day next week so I'll be going more on my own so should get into the habit. (Btw ladies; when doing any vigorous excercise make sure you wear a decent sprots bra...I almost did myself a michief in aerobics the other day)
I generally find that if I pretend I'm more confident than I am then the confidence kind of follows...you can spend so long putting life off and just getting annoyed at yourself...one of my favourites was...I'll get nice clothes when I'm thin....far better to make yourself feel fab right now and be happy with yourself and then the weightloss will follow on and then if it take a long time you feel good along the way rather than depressed and dowdy...that make sense to anyone?0 -

Yes serendis that makes loads of sense (well done on making it to the gym on your own btw - I still haven't been back since July).
I agree that you don't want to look dowdy but I just don't want to spend money at the minute on clothes that won't fit me by christmas. My WW buddy and I have taken to raiding each other's wardrobes in the past month or two (totally MSE:money: ) but her taste in clothes is a bit mumsy so sometimes I'm a bit pushed to find anything. (my taste is more !!!!!!/hooker -nah only joking) I was irretrievably influenced by Trinny and Suzannah ages ago and find it hard to wear something which I know is going to give me a monoboob. I find spending a few quid in Matalan now and again satisfies me. (oh and I wear a suit to work so that helps!).Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0
