but will do so in a couple of hours, but thought I'd better get the important post done for the birthday girl. BTW the number of candles on the cake does not reflect any number of years

Good Morning Lovely Peeps :j
Well I've made a splendid job of the fences and saved a lot of money in the process too:money: couldn't get any tradesmen here to do itso MrP has said that I can treat myself to another Radley bag that I spotted in the sale online, so I'll be doing that later on :j ...
...Well done to justmarried 1lb off is excellent don't be disappointed  and furrypig :j ...serendisglair Well done for keeping positive, that pesky lb will disappear next time accompanied with friends...
...Annie Well done with the cycling  you'll soon see the benefits :j...
...LilMissEmmylou What a great local gym you have!!!Blimey and free membership :j loved your bit about healthy eatings being a bit poop :rotfl: but the gym stuff'll soon sort that out ...
...Victory Sorry ol' chum, didn't mean to make hard work for youjust assumed we'd be making our own arrangements and got (more than) a tad carried away
I notice the 30th Nov is a Friday, as I shall be bringing MrP he might have a problem getting the day off to get there in time for the evening, could it be for the Saturday? I'll go with the majority though but it will ultimately depend on location and MrP...Re pinto beans, I love them too and quite often substitute them in recipes that call for red kidney beans. Try flageolet beans, they're really nice as well, but in this case I've only tried the canned variety. Dried beans work out a lot cheaper and aren't hard to prepare, I use both dried and canned depending on the time factor

Morning all!
Thank you for the birthday poem Petrichor, it's brilliant! I've printed it out and it will go on the wall by my computer.
Thanks Delly, Ajax and BB for your birthday wishes.
I've got a busy day ahead, so I may not get a chance to post again - in case I don't, be good, and I'll 'see' you when I get back.
Be nice to Delly

:rotfl: :rotfl: Have just been to Tesco and bought some of the dried flageolet beans ready for the autumn stews. I've also bought some of their own brand frozen cauliflower grills (half price) and for my meal tonight I've decided to try the vegetarian mushroom burger, 151 cals, must admit that I'm looking forward to it :j ...
