Thanks for the consideration, however MrsS has suggested that we be going away on either of those weekends. Funnily enough she is looking at Dublin or Amsterdam :rotfl:

...is that a problem or a boon? If I went I'd certainly be wanting to bring MrsA. Incidentally, 30th November is a good weekend for me, one of the few I could make.

thanks for the link delly, oh will be thrilled!

grannynise providing fruit for our staff is v sweet. I work at a food manufacturer and we don't get anything like that. Admittedly, I get massive quantiities of cooked meat from the development department on a regular basis. We're launching some new stuff with Asda this month and it's yummy! Lots of red days for me!

yes obviously all the Mr and Mrs can come:D so is Nov 30th a good date to start with?

What can I do with pinto beans? In Spain they had pinto beans (which are called alubias) in a fab mixed veg sauce in a tin ,loved it, went to Sainsburys and they only have pinto beans that you need to soak so bought them but have no idea how to make a gluggy stick to the beans mixed veg sauce that was on them in Spain.....

....sounds ideal for a mix of finely chopped onions and peppers and passata (or blitz your own toms), then add a bit of chili. I don't like frying chilis in a pan, stinks too much. Definitely prefer to use powder at the end, cheaper too.

I've flown into Belfast city airport twice and never noticed any problem - what did I miss?

On my return journey the 2nd time I was rubbing shoulders with Ian Botham :D .

Did my pedometer/golf experiment last night and was delighted to find that it clocked up over 11,000 steps over the round. I played about as well as I can too, so it would be even more if I play badly :)

Carried my clubs as well, which I've never done before on my 'home' course as it's just so hilly. In that warm weather too!! Am somewhat smug :D
