Hi vickyj - you shouldn't really have weighed yourself at Boots. Their scales are probably totally different to WW ones - As far as I remember, your WW leader goes to a meeting at least once a month where amongst other things, their scales are calibrated for accuracy. The ones in boots have probably been used and abused and shifted all over the place.

I wouldn't worry about going 2 points over your allowance on one day. That's not really going to make a difference It's only if you went over your points allowance every day all week that you might see a gain. Try to forget about the boots scales for now. If you've had a good week other than wednesday- you should see a result at your weigh in on Monday.

Good luck with the rest of the weekend and the weigh in on Monday.

Just came back from doing the shopping & mnaged to get loads of lovely fruit & veg from the market. :)I managed to weigh myself at boots & found I was 4kg lighter than my old scales say I am! I will now update my signature to show my weight & target weight.

Oops zulubabe. sorry about the comment about boots scales. I think now that you've started your "official" weight on boots scales, you should continue to weigh in there. That way, you'll get consistency in your results (unless Boots move them to somewhere else - happened to Suggs you know!). I was really only pointing out to vickyj that you need to stick to the same set of scales be it WW, Boots, your own - whatever, in order to get a consistent result.

    Hi all

Well, it turns out we've got the internet at the beautiful cottage we're staying in so I'll be able to 'weigh in' on Wednesday after all. Yae!

Much to the ridicule of everyone else here I did bring my scales and I'm hoping to keep an eye on things so they don't get really out of hand!

Hope everyone is having a good week xx

    'Lo Peeps :hello:

Crumbs it's certainly been quiet here today...

...Well done bails (I think ;) ) for taking the scales with you, I inderstand how you feel, when you've finally made the decision to lose weight you don't want anything to spoil it, but do remember to enjoy yourself - :j :j (that's an order by the way :D )...

...Well, our lovely Suggs will now be jetting off to sunny climes :j(lucky him) I just hope that ajax is strong enough to cope with all of us females :rotfl: :rotfl: ...

...I've spent a few hours today at Meadowhall with MrP and my mother who wants to buy a china afternoon tea set (for a present) and for the size of the place I thought we'd have more choice than a tiny selection in House of Fraser and Debenhams, so it seems that I'll be reduced to online shopping again although I'm apprehensive about it being delivered. Anyway at least all the walking will have burnt off a few calories, and that's what matters to me :D ...

I hope everyone is out and about enjoying themselves in a healthy slimming sort of way :T

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Wow! it certainly is quiet on here today. And there was me in the mood for a bit of chat.oh well!

A bit hungover today. I had FiL's 60th birthday party last night and whilst I didn't go mad on snacks, I'm feeling a bit worse for wear - a few too many bacardi and diet cokes were had. Of course my excuse is I was taking a cure for my cold. I haven't counted a single point since friday night so I'm not anticipating a loss this week. Trying to pull back today (pretty easy when you're hung over!":rotfl: )

Hope you're all enjoying the rest of your weekend. Keep up the good work everyone.
