Other than that - Hi everyone, glad to see you're all doing well. Starlight well done on 1lb off - Didn't I tell you a day would see a difference? Well done joj ,and anyone else who's managed to lose weight this week. exct0005.gif

Well, I've bitten the bullet and officially re-joined weightwatchers tonight. The worst thing was stepping back on the scales and weighing more than I did when I joined in May last year!emba0004.gif I've thought about it most of the weekend and it's the right thing for me. OH and I would like to try for another baby sometime in the not too distant future and I know my weight would hold me back from getting the necessary treatments (still can enjoy practising in the meantime though! 0002006B.gif
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

thanks Petrichor you've just made me feel loads better. You're right. I did see the same old faces there. I admire them for staying on at the class but they haven't seemed to have progressed very far in the 6 months I haven't gone. (no, I'm not saying that to be a cow). I hope this time the change is in me - and I'll be successful this time. (almost like a DFWB lightbulb moment)

You're right about Ajax though - he seems to be a bit off form... wassamaada Ajax - golf not going so well at the mo? How are you finding the points plan (enjoying your alcohol!). Oh, btw. Nairns oat biscuits are only 1/2 point each - they're packaged in 5's so you have to think about it before you open another packet - yummy with a cuppa!

..... don't be worrying about ajax ladies, he's fine ('twas very touching though :)). Am still not happy with delly  imposing a 21 point per week limit on alcohol (how she can advise saving all your alcohol points up for a good blow out and then limiting a bloke to seven poxy pints is beyond me). Big celebration on Friday, and a family bbq/party - a year to the day since we got the keys to our dream house - so that 21 point cap will be called some rude names and sent to the silly corner. Am not expecting a loss next week.

Biscuits. Thanks for that tip delly. MrsA is more of a biscuit fiend than me so she'll be very interested in that. We bought some WW biscuits the other day, 1.5 points per pack of two. Lemon and ginger cookies... yummy yum yum.

Anyway, on to the real business... Lois can I plant my flag in the 4lb loss territory please? :j The 5lb challenge has taken a step to the good from "virtually impossible" to "pretty unlikely". I'd normally be confident of 3lb in 2 weeks if I tried, but this Friday is not to be compromised :D

Wow ajax, 4 lbs loss. That's great for your first week on WW. It must agree with you. How are you finding it compared to SW?

Well my scales are playing tricks on me again grrrr. I ended up weighing myself about 15 times in the last 2 minutes (on and off the elctronic scales) and my weight varied by 2.5 lbs. So irritating. Anyway, the final few times was consistent and so I am recording a loss of 1.5lbs. I am pleased with that after a good week last week. I just wish my scales didn't mess me around. They are slater electronic scales. Naughty scales. :(

    Thanks efrieze.

I'm hungrier, no doubt about that. With SW if you felt peckish you could get a banana, a mango, a pineapple, some strawberries, a big tub of yogurt, mix the lot together and it would all be free... or half a dozen quorn sausages with 2 fried eggs and a load of rice (done that :o ). There's not the scope to fill yourself up with free food like there is on SW but the trade off is that I'm having more varied stuff rather than lots of the same old, same old. Happy with it at the moment.
