I have just had a call from my doctor surgery, after making a fool of myself yesterday by fainting, it appears they think it was food poisoning, we suspect piece of steak i had saturday evening, my other half is always moaning that i eat my steak too rare and it had been frozen so maybe.

In all it does mean I am confined to barracks at least until next week, The men in my life are now ganging up on me ( G.P, Hubby and my Boss) what chance have I got.

Never mind bright side is next weeks weight lose should be good as I can't eat anything without feeling Yuck.

  • Awwww teeni I know how you feel. Ive had what the doctor says is food poisioning too since last night. Ive been violently sick and have stomach pains like you wouldnt believe.

My mum and dad ended up dashing up to mine at 0130 this morning and dragging ;) me back to theirs.

I know I havent been happy with my weight loss this past weeks but this kind of diet wasnt what I had in mind lol

Hope youre feeling better soon :)

You haven't been eating cooked meat from Morrison's have you? Don't want to worry you, but there have been a couple of cases of food poisoning from e-coli in your neck of the woods... :o

Hi everyone! Just checking in from sunny(ish) France. Have read all the posts -sorry it's been a bit quiet, haven't had the guts to check in more regularly as the laptop is right in the middle of the very social lounge area but you know what, *** it! It's great to be able to keep up with the gang and find out what's going on, I feel lots more supported just from reading everyone's posts.

Well done to everyone who's lost or maintained this week, sorry to hear about the food poisoning peeps! I think Skint Catt should definitely change her name too...:D

I am definitely glad that I've brought the scales with me but do not fear, I have definitely been having lots of treats!! So we'll see how I've got on in the morning - I'd be happy with a maintain but even a little shave off the target would make me delirious!

Ajax, you are SOOO close to the line, me thinks :rotfl:

    See you all tomorrow xx

....You're right. I did see the same old faces there. I admire them for staying on at the class but they haven't seemed to have progressed very far in the 6 months I haven't gone. (no, I'm not saying that to be a cow). I hope this time the change is in me - and I'll be successful this time. (almost like a DFWB lightbulb moment)....

I hope so too delly :j I'm determined not to regain the weight either, and I must admit I feel different about it all this time, perhaps it's because I actually managed to do it without forking out a load of money I'm not really sure. I used to go to a class on a Wednesday morning and as I pass by it most weeks I've seen so many of the faces that were there when I was, and like you say, they don't look any different, I hope that they've only just rejoined and have not been paying out to stay the same :o I feel like going in to the class and telling them about this thread :D because if it's the same woman running the class that I had then the support is minimal.

I wish you luck so that you can have the baby you so want ...and practice makes perfect

....when I returned to SW after the wedding my heart dropped as I saw that the same old faces were there and looking just as rotund, save for a few notable exceptions. You really do think "£20 to stay the same? Waste of spends, can do better meself (meaning with you lot)".

I've found the same as Petrichor, the Image Therapy (to borrow the SW garb for the chat) on here is vastly superior to what I experienced at SW. That's not to talk down our consultant, he was apparently one of the best (that came not from him but from his peers who wished that they could keep such a high membership, and such a high %age who stayed to class).

We got the lot here - I love you guys :grouphug:
